To the various and assorted talking heads who waste air time pretending to discuss

Trump's "new more serious tone", I can say only this: PULL YOUR HEAD OUT OF YOUR ASS!

Do not insult us by assuming that we will accept your lame premise as anything but an excuse to fill up another few minutes of your obligation.

There is not one thing about Trump that is genuine or honest or decent. Any change in what he says is his policy is pure pretense. Do not treat his speech as anything but self-serving lies.

Freeing slaves, permitting women to vote, allowing same-sex marriage---all were things that

"could not be done"; all were "unprecedented"; all were "contrary to established law".

The same dismissive criticisms are now made of the suggestion that the appointments of Gorsuch and Kavanaugh should be voided.

Stupid or evil? Unfortunately, there are millions of Trumpies who loudly refuse to wear a mask in

any situation involving close contact with others. Most insist that "no one has the authority" to require them to wear a mask which "not only does nothing to stop the Corona virus, but also actually causes illnesses such as mildew in their lungs caused by rebreathing stale air"

There are only two apparent reasons for this conduct which endangers their families and neighbors: they are either so abysmally stupid that they actually believe that nonsense OR they are simply evil enough to prefer profit to the health and safety of American citizens.

I really don't care whether an unmasked shopper is stupid or evil. I just want them to get the hell away from me and to stop sharing my air. I will not knowingly associate with them or do business with them.

And, I will not forget them.

I propose that an annual award be considered to recognize members of Congress who

have most exemplified the brand of jaw-dropping mean-spirited ignorance so proudly promulgated by Rep. Gohmert. It would, predictably, be known as "the Louie" and would provide the "winner" with a one pound bundle of fresh asparagus, suitable for "casting".

The current year's "Louie" nominees should include Ron Johnson, Matt Baetz, Joni Ernst and Marsha Blackburn, but I am sure there are several other "worthy" empty vessels.

I want to be clear that I am not calling for or condoning this but, if Trump does send more of

his unbadged mercenaries to "Democratically governed cities", I think it is possible that some of them will be killed and their deaths may be used to justify mass arrests and killings of protestors.

Chaos and divisions benefit Trump's re-election chances. The smart opposition would be to scrupulously avoid giving them any possible excuse to attack peaceful ptotestors.

If you can watch and listen to Wallace's interview of Trump without feeling at least a small

urge to smack some of the orange pancake off his smug face, you are a far better person than I am.

I propose a new acronym as the universal response to any opinion voiced by Trump:

"WGARA"
(Who Gives A Rat's Ass?)

I am compelled to say this again: if having a bowel movement required intelligence,
