about all that voting nonsense.

No voting by mail, of course, because Mr. Trump says that's just not the way real patriotic non-socialists vote.

And, now, you won't have to stand in line with all those disgusting ordinary citizens and actually cast your ballot because---are ya ready for this?---Trump says ballots don't count any more! He has a better idea: with the help of HIS SCOTUS, he's just gonna have a "continuation"!

So, forget about casting ANY type of ballot. Play 18 on November 3rd and make reservations for your "victory dinner" that evening. Or just kick back and laugh at all the foolish Democrats who are wasting their time voting.

Bottom line: don't embarrass yourself by voting cause it's all been "taken care of".

If Trump's "It is what it is" did not doom his campaign, is it unreasonable to wonder when

we'll hear "Hey,--- shit happens!"?

I understand that the Louisville cops who just skated insisted that they announced themselves as

LEOs before breaking into Breonna Taylor's apartment despite all neighbors but one, apparently, saying they heard no such announcement.

These cops had a "no-knock" warrant and they broke down her door to gain entry. No-knock warrants are available in only some states and, in general, are only issued if there is reason to believe---detailed in the sworn application---that either evidence will be instantly destroyed if they announce or that notifying an occupant that police are seeking entry could endanger the officers, i.e., get them shot.

My question: if these officers swore to facts which enabled them to obtain a no-knock warrant, why would they then announce their presence with a warrant---as they insist they did---to the occupants of the apartment?

The only reason I was can think of is IF they announced themselves as police officers, Breonna's boyfriend---who possessed a legal firearm and shot at the cops as they entered---cannot claim he was defending himself and Breonna from unknown attackers breaking into the apartment. Instead, he is characterized as a "cop shooter".

Is it necessary to say that this story smells to high heaven?

threatened any protestors with armed violence, what would we do?

Do not have your ballot disqualified and not counted because failed to vote in EXACTLY the way your state requires.

Are you supposed to seal the ballot in a "secrecy" envelope before you place it in the mailing envelope?

Are you supposed to SIGN the outside of the envelope?

Are you supposed to mark the ballot with a specific color of pen? (Not red or green or ?)

Are you supposed to mark your ballot by "filling in the oval"? (Not an X or a check mark)

Read and follow the instructions, please. Your vote is important and we need it

Lastly, is there a relative or neighbor who might be intimidated by the written instructions? Could you maybe call them and offer to "walk them through" the voting process? Some might be grateful.

Our hummingbirds are about finished for the year. We are down to just one last feeder. We

were a couple weeks "late" supplying sugar water for them last spring due to sugar being available in limited quantities. We have used "only" 120 # of sugar this year. Is it possible that Romney is assuming that Trump will nominate Amy Coney Barrett, perhaps

the most extreme RWNJ on Trump's short list, and has decided to support considering her and then vote against her?

This could be seen by some as being a "loyal Republican" with enough independence to appeal to the "never-Trumpers" and some independents when he runs for POTUS in 2024.
