Had to turn off the televised Congessional Covid hearing at which the "White House corona virus
team" was testifying. Without exception that I heard, all complimented Trump's "plan" and agreed repeatedly that his decisions had saved lives.
All, including Fauci, are spineless ass-kissers---period.
We have no real idea how bad things are as long as Trump controls the numbers and the propaganda.
I'm not a doctor and don't even portray one on TV, but it seems to me that getting Covid 19 from
your mask is about as likely as picking up a dose of the clap from one of those "dirty toilet seats".
A president cannot legally bar immigrants based on their religion---but Trump did.
A president cannot legally use tax funds Congressionally appropriated for a specific purpose for some totally different pet project---but Trump did.
A president cannot legally use the DOJ to protect his disciples and punish his opponents---buf Trump has.
A president cannot legally accept emoluments---but Trump has accepted millions.
A president cannot legally postpone an election---but-------------------------------------------?
Rational people do not knowingly risk their health and safety---their very lives---unless it is seen
as necessary to avoid or defeat a greater danger. I believe that the delay or cancellation of the election scheduled in November OR Trump refusing to accept his defeat present such a danger.
Would it be unreasonable to ask a million or so of you to mask up and peacefully but loudly descend upon the White House should either of those threats be acted upon?
That sounds like "Good Trouble" to me.
So far, Trump has cost me the following due to his total refusal to deal with the pandemic:
-our usual family gatherings/dinners/ barbecues for Easter, 5 family birthdays, Memorial Day, and 4th of July;
-an average once-a-month-nothing-special get together with our kids, kids-in-law and grandkids---hot dog roasts, home-churned ice cream, etc;
-the joy of hugging and kissing my children and grand children;
-the aggravation of shopping for EVERYTHING on line;
-cancelled dental check-ups
-cancelled doctor appointments for a variety of ailments that I HOPE are only painful and not too serious;
-finally---and maybe the most stressful---is knowing that all of the above have been knowingly and arrogantly inflicted upon me and those I love by a person I will never have the pleasure of laying my hands on.
Can no one wrap their head around this? TRUMP IS A RUSSIAN AGENT!
Whether the source of Putin's power over him is billions in bribes or videos of Trump having sex with Lolitas or animals, the result is the same: Putin can do no wrong and will be denied no favor.
Crimea? What's the problem?
Determining who wins US elections? Putin denied it "very strongly".
Betraying our allies? Well, they were weak and didn't pay me---er, US---enough.
Bounties on our soldiers? Intelligence did not say what they said and, besides, they never told me.
Withdraw US troops from Germany? Germans are not paying me---er, US---enough and their leader is a woman.
Trump is a traitor and his primary defense is that he hasn't hidden any of his betrayals.
I do not favor the death penalty for Trump. He should die in prison---a gray, bald, pot-bellied, drooling maniac.
