Don't stay up late waiting for Romney's concession speech
He won't make one. Instead, once Obama crosses the magic 270 threshold Romney will go on television and say something like, "these are just early exit polls. We are certain that once all the votes have been counted that we will emerge victorious."
And he will continue to say this until after the Electoral College meets and declares Obama the winner.

Wyatt McNulty was born Feb. 27, 1973, in Roseville, Calif. Wyatt PROUDLY and BRAVELY served our country in the U.S. Army for 11 years. He served in Kosovo, Iraq, and Korea. Wyatt didn’t have any injuries that you could see with your eyes but inside he had a battle in his mind. He also suffered severe head and backaches from a tank hatch that fell on his head. He battled post-traumatic stress disorder daily, silently and quietly. He went through treatment, counseling, and tried many, many different ways of fighting this battle in his mind. On Oct. 31, 2012, he lost his last and final battle with the physical, mental and emotional agony. Like so many other BRAVE soldiers he wanted the war to end and he took his own life.
You were only 39, Wyatt, and we all stood on the sidelines watching you give so much to this country. You paid much too high a price and this country was blessed to have you. Up until your last moments, God alone only knows how much you struggled with the terror while on duty in the Army. Rest in peace dear friend, you deserve it. We are SO PROUD to have known Wyatt. We will never forget you.
Wyatt leaves behind his wife, Jennifer; son, Cameron, 16; and daughter, Chyanne, 13. He also leaves behind his mother, Sheral; stepfather, Roger Cornwell; brother, Shane Smith; sister, Sara Stamas; brother-in-law, Thomas; sister-in-law, Rebecca; and their families. He also leaves many loving aunts and uncles and numerous family members.
Services to be held Wednesday, Nov. 7, 2012, at 11 a.m. at Real Life Ministries, 1866 N. Cecil Rd., Building 2, Post Falls.

According to USA Today's Paul Myberg, Alabama and Louisiana State University play the weekend before election day, which they did today. And according to him, in the last seven meetings on presidential election years, LSU won four times - 1984, 1988, 2000 and 2004 - and in all four years a Republican was elected president.
Alabama won three times - 1992, 1996 and 2008 - and in all three of those years a Democrat was elected president.
The No. 1-ranked Crimson Tide of Alabama, current BCS National Champions, won 21-17 on Saturday.
How is Koch actually pronounced?
Seriously: is it like Coach, Kotch, Coke or Cock? If they want to be the power behind the throne, we should at least say their names right.
Are zombies unionized?
Whenever you see a zombie he walks on the side of one foot, which he drags on the ground. Only powerful union rules could force them to act alike.
What is the red meat on your ballot?
Unlike many of you, I am not worried about electronic ballot tampering. Everyone knows about it. People are on the watch for it, and getting caught means prison. Republicans love prisons but they don't want to get sent to them.
It is easier, and legal, to use a Red Meat issue to drive Republicans to the polls. Think of all the gay marriage bans in 2010. They worked to fill our congress with rabid ideologues because most Republican voters aren't that far to the right. By using red meat they got people in the building....and once there, people vote the whole ballot not just the red meat issues.
Idaho's red meat is HJR2AA, the right to hunt law that was passed onto the ballot under emergency rules eliminating debate. What's yours?

Gifts for the handyman in your life
The fake thread motivated me.
Ladies, you probably have a handyman in your life and if you're like 75% of women and 72% of men you are as comfortable in a hardware store as he is in the housewares department. So without further ado...
1. A 1/4" drive ratchet
Every man has 1/4" drive sockets. Most guys try using them on 3/8" drive sockets with an adapter. And most guys routinely twist the heads off bolts this way. A 1/4" drive ratchet is short enough you can't do that.
2. Spray Can Six Pack
Just get a six-pack of beer, take the bottles out and put cans of WD-40, PB Blaster, white lithium grease, Windex,and two other spray products of your choice in it.
3. Huge bag of mechanics rags
Much appreciated because no one ever has enough.
4. The beers from idea 2, above.
5. Rolls of colored duct tape
Most guys like duct tape. It comes in colors othet than silver now.
6. Motivation kit
Every so often you just can't get things to go in, so a five-piece motivation kit containing an Estwing 20-ounce framers hammer, a 3-pound engineers hammer, a dead blow hammer, a ball peen hammer and a rubber mallet will be highly appreciated.
