Well, she was a kid and was stuck with her family. But come adulthood, she chose her partner.
The first time one's spouse cheats, it's a shame-on-the-cheater situation. One can choose to forgive and to try to save the marriage. But the second time? 3rd? 4th? and so on. Even when the adulterer is so reckless that the affairs get international publicity? It then becomes shame on the person who enables the serial adulterer by not only staying in the marriage, but by blaming the adulterer's partners. And not just blaming the women, but setting up & directing the Bimbo Eruption Squad to intimidate, threaten and otherwise shut them up.
Trading self respect for power & political positioning is not what one might call a "free trade" deal. There is a heavy psychological price to be paid for choosing to stay with a spouse who repeatedly and publicly betrays and humiliates you. That anger gets projected onto others in quite out-of-proportion ways. It's a tragedy - the 2 men in her life whom she should have been able to trust to protect and cherish her, failed to do so. I feel sorry for her, but not enough to vote for her.

PA Senate candidate Sestak called for EPA oversight of Marcellus drilling.
Sestak did this in October of 2013, following a blowout 100 miles east of Pittsburgh, which sent a plume of contaminated drilling water & natural gas 75 feet into the air & flowing into the ground for 16 hours before being capped. A failed blowout preventer triggered BP's environmental disaster in the Gulf of Mexico.
I post this to illustrate that he is not in the pocket of Big Fracking.
Sestak - the Democratic nominee for Senate - compared the incident, which has initially been linked to a failed blowout preventer, to the circumstances that led to the BP oil rig disaster in the Gulf of Mexico.
Sestak wrote to EPA Administrator Lisa Jackson to ask that the Marcellus Shale development be monitored by the EPA to ensure that drilling does not harm Pennsylvania's water resources.
"This accident highlights the significant dangers of these drilling operations, which are expanding in Pennsylvania at an unprecedented rate and scale," Sestak wrote, noting that American Rivers has declared the Upper Delaware River the most endangered in the country due to Marcellus Shale development. "Proper regulations are not in place to manage them and protect the public." He said Pennsylvania must have proper investigation and testing of groundwater and air contamination and the EPA has the technical expertise to do so.
As a House member, Sestak co-sponsored the FRAC Act, a companion to a Senate bill, sponsored by Sen. Bob Casey, that would repeal the "Halliburton Loophole," a Bush-era deal that allows drillers to avoid compliance with the Safe Drinking Water Act.

ONE time, HRC took ONE classmate to a Sunday service at her family's own Methodist church in the snooty, country-club level Chicago suburb of Park Ridge. I looked up HRC's home address at that time on Zillow - homes there described as in a country-club type of neighborhood.
Oh my God!!!! The horrors!!!! The dangers!!!!! The threats of violence!!!!!! I mean rich white Methodists!!!!! Who knows what they might have done????
(Actually, my grandparents were Methodists - and they took me to their Methodist church when I visited - albeit their church was in a poor coal-mining community, not a wealthy suburb). I used to BEG them - please, grammy - not a Methodist Church! Can you at least get me body armor?
HRC probably only took her black classmate once because the black classmate found the services remarkably boring!
And yet Hillary survived - it was prequel to BOSNIA!
And you have the chutzpah to describe this single incident at her own family's church as "desegregating churches in the south as a teen".

I immediately thought of the ignominious circumstances under which she departed her job as an investigator for the Watergate committee, re her removing/hiding files relevant to and establishing precedent for Nixon's right to legal representation.
If anyone has any other explanation for the presence of the word "fired" as 1 of the 4 most frequent descriptive terms, along with "unethical", "behavior", and "lies", please share that explanation.
She was targeted re this incident in 2008, and it's still out there, in those clouds the Hill supporters are studiously ignoring, and positioned to be thrown at her if she is the candidate.

Hillary Clinton's speech on ISIS to the Council on Foreign Relations (CFR) showed clearly what to expect in a Clinton presidency: more of the same. In her speech, Clinton doubled down on the existing, failed U.S. approach in the Middle East, the one she pursued as Secretary of State. The CIA-led policy in the Middle East works like this. If a regime is deemed to be unfriendly to the U.S., topple it. If a competitor like the Soviet Union or Russia has a foothold in the region, try to push it out. If this means arming violent insurgencies, including Sunni jihadists, and thereby creating mayhem: so be it. And if the result is terrorist blowback around the world by the forces created by the US, then double down on bombing and regime change.
Thanks to America's misguided policies, we now have wars and violence raging across a 5,000-mile stretch from Bamako, Mali to Kabul, Afghanistan, with a U.S. hand in starting and stoking the violence. Libya, Sudan, the Sinai, Gaza, Lebanon, Syria, Iraq, and Afghanistan are all cases where the U.S. has directly intervened with very adverse results. Mali, Chad, Central African Republic, Somalia are some of the many other countries indirectly caught up in turmoil unleashed by U.S. covert and overt operations.
Until today, Clinton has not acknowledged the roots of the conflict in the region, including the disastrous role that the U.S. has played, including under her watch as Secretary of State. She has not been a mastermind of it, but has been a loyal backer carried along by the CIA, the broader military-industrial-intelligence complex, and the conventional neocon thinking in DC. That's no doubt good for her national politics. It's hard to run for President as an opponent of the permanent U.S. security state. Being a card-carrying member of the U.S. security establishment is the mainstream media's definition of a "serious" candidate.
Martin O'Malley and Bernie Sanders are learning this for all their troubles. O'Malley and Sanders wisely and correctly support an America that works with other countries and with the UN Security Council to build peace in the Middle East rather than an America that continues to indulge in endless and failed CIA adventures of regime change and war. While Clinton arrogantly demands that other countries such as Russia and Iran fall squarely behind the U.S., O'Malley and Sanders recognize that it is through compromise in the UN Security Council that we can defeat ISIS and find lasting solutions in the Middle East.
Post-Gazette's Rob Rogers wins national editorial cartoon award!
Pittsburgh/southwestern PA is fortunate to have an editorial cartoonist of his caliber commenting on our local as well as state, national and international goings on. And I'm proud to be one of his FB friends! He certainly keeps our county and state politicians on their toes!

Rob Rogers, the Post-Gazette’s editorial cartoonist, has won this year’s Berryman Award for Editorial Cartooning. Given by the National Press Foundation, the prize is named for Clifford K. and James T. Berryman, the father-son team of editorial cartoonists for The Washington Star.
The winning portfolio included cartoons about police facing cellphone video cameras, the Charlie Hebdo killings in Paris, the campaign between Hillary Rodham Clinton and Bernie Sanders for the Democratic presidential nomination, the stand of Pope Francis on climate change and the proliferation of gun sales in the United States.
The judges said, “Rogers has a vivid visual style that invites you in. He tackles really heavy issues with a light-handed visual touch. He leaves no confusion about his point of view; he knows what he wants to say.”
The Berryman award carries a $2,500 prize. Mr. Rogers will attend the NPF awards ceremony in Washington, D.C., in February. The Post-Gazette cartoonist received the 2000 and 2013 Thomas Nast Award from the Overseas Press Club and the 1995 National Headliner Award. In 1999 he was a finalist for the Pulitzer Prize.
HRC will depress hell out of Dem.turnout;destroy down ticket D candidates.
I'm a lifelong Democrat with tons of political & social connections in my urban community. I'm both an elected and an appointed official (Judge of Elections and member of building code appeals board). I'm an officer of my local American Association of University Women branch. I'm a retired staff attorney for the state legislative Dem. caucus who keeps in touch with my former colleagues. I do not know a single man or woman who supports Hillary. When her name comes up in political discourse, people get pained expressions on their faces. Negative things are said about her and Bill.
If she is at the top of the ticket in the general election, Dems up and down the ticket, from local school board to state legislators, to federal offices, will be victims. As many pundits are predicting, it will be a combination of (1) depressing the vote turnout of those who see no significant difference between her and whomever the GOP puts up, and (2) generating a high turnout of those who distrust her and/or will relish the opportunity to vote against her.
