Welcome to the event that makes your pre-Halloween celebration the joyous occasion that it certainly is, you ghosts and goblins, you… It's time for The 12th Annual Late H. Lee Atwater Award for Right Wing Evil! (Insert evil, echoing cackle here.)
In this second year of suffering under real life evils, these festivities have a special meaning for all of us. These circumstances have yielded quite a collection of evil actors too chose from, a veritable bumper crop of despicable Right Wing characters, delivered straight from Central Casting. A true collection of real life HORROR. (More evil, echoing cackling). Has there ever been a more horrifying collection of Scary Monsters hellbent on ruining everyone's lives before?
Why do I ask that question every year? They're always bad. But now, they seem so much worse. Much more worse.
As you know, the winner who will be chosen by all of you and will be announced at Midnight ET on Halloween, when the Rotting and Desiccated Corpse of the Late H. Lee Atwater will rise from his grave in South Carolina and hand out the award with his boney hands. That's tonight, of course.
Last year's winner, as you may remember, was the one and only The Donald J. "Cheetolini Shitgibbon" Trump, and the recipient of the Fourth Annual Richard Bruce "Dick" Cheney Lifetime Achievement Award for Right Wing Evil was Bill "Rapey" O'Reilly. Let's give others a chance this year, shall we?
What am I saying? Trump infests this year's selection and he stands a huge chance of taking it again this year. We'll, see, shall we?
Tonight, before the tolling of the Witching Hour that will signal another glorious Halloween, we'll all place our votes for the people that you have nominated.
After what we've all had to endure this year, it may seem as if the outcome will be obvious, but we have so many horrid little evil creatures to choose from. Use your vote well. Also, I'd like to take this time to announce that we'll be awarding the Fifth Annual Richard Bruce "Dick" Cheney Lifetime Achievement Award for Right Wing Evil to Steve "America's Most Racist Congressman" King. Seeing how the award is shaped, perhaps he'll use it on himself... But that's wishful thinking, of course.
Anyway, let's do this thing:

Man Arrested In Florida With 'ARSENAL' OF GUNS, SWASTIKA AND BULLET-RESISTANT VEST

A South Dakota man was arrested in Florida with an “arsenal” of guns, a bullet-resistant vest and a knife with a swastika, according to the Miami Herald.
David Goldammer, 32, was charged with DUI, carrying a concealed weapon and openly carrying a concealed weapon after he was found in Miami Beach with five loaded handguns and a rifle. An arrest report said authorities located a South Dakota permit to conceal carry a pistol.
Police found his car blocking an alley. When authorities arrived, they found Goldammer slouched over with his car's engine running. Police said they could see two Yuengling beer bottles and two handguns, according to a local ABC station. The suspect declined to perform a field sobriety test, NBC Miami said. Police said he almost fell when getting out of his truck.
The charges were for the two handguns in the car console and one in his waistband, according to the Herald. “It’s not illegal to own a semiautomatic rifle. But it’s illegal to open carry in Florida—and as far as police could tell, he did not have a concealed weapons permit," the paper reported.
