In Ferguson, whites are more likely to have contraband, but blacks are more likely to be stopped
And arrested.
Racial profiling, y'all!
In other execution by cop news...
20 Year Old Executed by Police, Allegedly for Wearing Headphones, Unable to Hear Orders
Dillon Taylor, 20 years old, was executed by the Salt Lake City Police around 7pm, Monday night for failing to comply with officers orders. The young man was reportedly wearing headphones and likely couldnt hear the officers.
Taylor, his brother, and cousin were at 7-Eleven in South Salt Lake City when cops began searching the area for a suspect who was allegedly waving a gun in the general vicinity.
When the three young men exited the convenience store they were surrounded by officers and ordered to show their hands. Two of the men stopped and complied, Dillon Taylor, listening to music, seemingly did not hear the officers and kept walking until he was savagely gunned down by at least one officer.
Three officers are reportedly on paid vacations, but it is still unclear how many officers fired at Taylor or how many times he was shot before his death.
They were obviously upset their friend had been shot and kept screaming for him to wake up, and he never did. He died in the parking lot, they were saying he did not have a gun, and they were very upset because of that. a witness told KSL.

The "Ball"
And your very soul will burn for eternity in the pit of everlasting flames of damnation
Oops!
Sorry, wrong forum.
Never mind.
I'll tell ya' what's weird...
The suspicious absence of some kind of internet footprint for this shooter cop, OUTSIDE of his name being plastered all over the place after that presser. Hell, everyone will Google themselves for shits and giggles and find at least a few links here and there. Social media, school ties, this, that and the another thing. Why can't anyone find anything on this dude... Not even a photo? Not even a public announcement regarding some mundane aspect related to his work as a Ferguson PD officer?
Makes you wonder what they've REALLY been up to for the last week. Very strange indeed.
The Ferguson PD is a textbook example of how NOT to run a police department
It's easy to see why they've so incompetently handled everything since they've been in the spotlight. And to think, some people out there thought that the outrage shown by the community over the past week either came out of the blue, or was encouraged by outside agitators.
That's complete bullshit, the people under occupation by this gang of thugs with badges knew the deal from the get go. That sort of seething rage doesn't just come out of nowhere. It builds and festers until it boils over.
It's called repression.
NOW, we're supposed to take their flimsy implication that Mike Brown was shot down in the street like a rabid dog because he was some hulking robber?
Riiight.
Fuck this shit.
The Ferguson PD needs to have its accreditation REMOVED, the ENTIRE force FIRED and the police force reconstructed with new, competently trained officers using the community policing model. These officers must live in the community and interact with its citizens as part of the community and not as some occupying force. Until this is accomplished, the State and County departments should take over the community's law enforcement needs until a new improved Ferguson PD is up and running.
As long as that department is run by the same gaggle of violent, incompetent fools in uniform, from the top on down, it'll only be a matter of time before the next questionable and provocative act that will start another outcry.
Justice is required, it's an imperative... If the Ferguson PD only cares about "just us," more unarmed people will surely die.
Out Of Sight, Out of Mind: Why White Moms Need to Care About Murdered Black Children
August 14, 2014 By Danielle S
Unless youve been under a rock the last few days, youve probably heard about the current situation going on in Ferguson, Missouri. Long story very short, a police officer killed unarmed Black teenager, Mike Brown. If you havent heard of Mike Brown, maybe youve heard of Eric Garner or John Crawford? Both unarmed Black men killed by the police. Oh and then theres Ezell Ford another unarmed Black man killed by police at a peaceful protest in LA. Maybe these stories are too new for you. Have you heard of Sean Bell or Oscar Grant? Maybe you think its just trigger happy police officers, but then theres Trayvon Martin, Jordan Davis, Renisha McBride, etc (yes because the list goes on and on) all unarmed and all killed by white people for looking suspicious, playing loud music, and asking for help after a car accident.
On my private Facebook page, Ive been publicly asking my white friends to speak up and speak out against the racial injustices that are currently taking place. I reposted my post from Black History Month and quoted this particular section:
Your silence makes me not trust you. Your silence makes me feel like you do not care about the future of my brown boy. Your silence breaks my heart.

If I could describe what self-hatred is like, I'd say it would be existing as a black Republican
Jul 29, 2014 By Michael Arceneaux
Some things are common knowledge. The sky is mostly blue if you dont live in Los Angeles. Water is wet if you can still find it in Texas. White people particularly those who espouse conservative beliefs dont want to be reminded of their White privilege.
I assumed most people who reach a certain arc of adulthood know to carry these truths with them, but in the case Regina V. Ross Roundtree (pictured), that last fun fact is a newly lesson learned following her abrupt firing from the Penny Bacchiochi (pictured above) for lieutenant governor campaign. Roundtree, a paid consultant, was let go of her duties once word got out that she wrote a Facebook post complaining about her employers opponent, Heather Bond Somers, making jabs about her and essentially exploiting the perks of White privilege.
The post now deleted featured Roundtree claiming:
Somers campaign manager, Jon Conradi, responded in a statement:
The Heather Somers campaign calls on Bacchiochi to immediately disavow herself of these divisive comments which have no place in the Republican Party or in public discourse.
