Legality of NV delay is questionable?

Is the counting 'pause' legal in NV?

Is the polling really to blame? Take another look.

https://www.dailykos.com/stories/2020/11/1/1991564/-AI-That-Accurately-Predicted-Brexit-2016-and-Canadian-Election-says

While traditional pollsters have tried to address the failures of 2016 with new methods (like weighting for education), a new alternative has begun to appear: AI predictions. Advanced Symbolics Inc. is a Canadian firm that has developed an AI named “Polly” which was recently the subject of a documentary by TVO (an Ontario public broadcaster). Polly makes it prediction based on social media and was first deployed in Brexit, then the 2016 American election, and the 2019 Canadian and UK elections. It accurately predicted them all.

And yet, suddenly, the US Presidential race is way, way off.

It's not the polls, it's the counting of the votes. Vlad struck AGAIN and we've been robbed, again. There, I said it. Call me a conspiracy theorist, but I don't think so. All of these polls can't be so off over and over again unless something got broken, and it wasn't the polls.

It couldn't work, and wouldn't.

I get it - this is an expression of frustration that so many people apparently voted for trump, but secession talk is really just a call for Civil War. This would be playing right into the hands of the Proud Bois, Boogaloos, and who knows how many other RW terrorist groups who really want that Civil War badly. Nope.

Every serious post talking about secession is fomenting sedition as well. Details and all.

I know, we're all disappointed that what looked like a possible landslide is squeaking under the wire. But at a time when we need to be pulling together and supporting one another, and Joe and Kamala, talking about ripping the country to pieces is counterproductive.

Excellent read.

Joe Biden struck the perfect tone in his brief remarks late last night. He called for patience during the process, but expressed confidence at the outcome:

I’m here to tell you tonight, we believe we’re on track to win this election. We knew because of the unprecedented early vote and the mail-in vote it was going to take a while. We’re going to have to be patient until the hard work of tallying the votes is finished. And it ain’t over until every vote is counted, every ballot is counted.
[snip]

We had hoped for a generational victory where Republicans up and down the ballot would be appropriately punished for their misdeeds. That did not happen. We have a lot more work to do. However, it appears that when it is all said and done Joe Biden will be the next President of the United States and Donald Trump will become the third President of the modern era to fail to win reelection.

It’s not everything we wanted, but it’s a giant fucking deal.

We are winning. Act like it!

Thanks for the sorely needed perspective, Stinky.

We can't buy into trump's narrative. The votes take time to count, and he's made sure some of them are taking longer than they should, but every vote must be counted. trump isn't the only one with attorneys: Biden has hundreds and they are busy working for all of us as we speak.

Deadlines for receiving mail-in ballots and continued counting of absentee/mail-in ballots stretch well into November for some states. The deadline for selecting electors isn't until December.

We'd all love to rush to knowing the count right now, but that is exactly what donnie wants too. Make him wait.

There have been some updates

Federal judge allows additional time after USPS turns down court order deadline to sweep facilities for undelivered mail-in ballots
The US Postal Service failed to meet a deadline set on Tuesday by US District Judge Emmet Sullivan to sweep facilities in several states for undelivered ballots and immediately send them to election officials, according to reporters. “There are only one or two Inspectors in any one facility, and thus they do not have the ability to personally scour the entire facility,” USPS said. Judge Sullivan later ordered USPS to “be prepared to discuss the apparent lack of compliance with the court’s order” at a noon hearing on Wednesday. However, Sullivan allowed the US Postal Service more time to sweep for possible missing ballots in mail processing centers in states including Pennsylvania, Colorado, Michigan and others.

'Given the timing, the Court is inclined to let this process continue.' Update from US District Judge Emmet Sullivan in DC, who earlier today ordered 'sweep' of 12 postal districts after USPS said 300K processed ballots had no scan confirming delivery: [image - Electronic Filing NAACP vs USPS]

It's no accident this is happening all over the country in such a coordinated fashion.

It's because these terrorists are free to communicate with one another and organize themselves on social media, most likely on Facebook. At this very moment, they are still doing so, and Zuckerberg isn't looking for it (though he doubtless has some notion about what's going on) and there's little chance he'll do a thing about it.

Has anyone in the media bothered to suss this out and say a thing? Screw the local po-po, where is the FBI? They're 'looking into' the bus incident, but otherwise...

The flag racks are ridiculous and unsafe.

They are distracting and block the vision of the driver and others around them, could turn into deadly spears if shaken loose, and really should be outlawed if they aren't already illegal. That would cut down a lot of the intimidation factor, making it much less fun to drive around showing off and acting like idiots.

Don't get me started on covered license plates...
