The National Media Museum in Bradford said it had found what it contends are truly historic films from 1901/02, pre-dating what had been thought to be the first successful colour process – Kinemacolor – by eight years.
"We believe this will literally rewrite film history," said the museum's head of collections, Paul Goodman. "I don't think it is an overstatement. These are the world's first colour moving images."
The films were made by a young British photographer and inventor called Edward Turner, a pioneer who can now lay claim to being the father of moving colour film, well before the pioneers of Technicolor.
Color film from 1901. Yes, that 1901. The film was taken just shy of a million hours ago.

Jewish/Israeli filmmaker? A budget of $5 million dollars funded by "100 Jewish donors"?
C'mon! Is this not setting anyone else's bullshit meter off? This thing reeks of a false flag. It reminds me of the infamous FBI-produced Black Panther Coloring Book, or the Protocols of the Elders of Zion or- fuck, just about take your pick.
This shit isn't a movie. Look at it, skip through it. But look at at it. This thing is designed to be as inflammatory as possible to Muslims and to the movie's "creator" is doing everything to convince the world he is a Jew/Israeli and this was funded by Jews.
You know what this looks like? This looks like something a fundamentalist Christian would make. One who hates Muslims and wants to pin the fallout on the Jews. Someone who wants to intentionally cause violence and hatred between the two groups.

What we know about Bacile and his film comes solely from his own mouth. During an interview he gave Tuesday from an undisclosed location, Bacile said he was an Israeli-American real estate developer who raised $5 million from 100 Jewish donors, none of whom he identified. He doesn't appear to have a California real estate license, according to a review of online real estate databases.
Using a "thick" accent, Bacile said he used 60 actors and 45 crew members and that the project was shot in 2011 over three months in California. He called Islam a "cancer" and railed on the lack of security at the American embassies. He also said he planned to go into hiding as protests escalated.

Though Bacile is a mystery, we do know a bit more about Steve Klein, who told the Associated Press on Wednesday that he was a "consultant" on Bacile's film. According to the Southern Poverty Law Center, the former Marine was part of the controversial California "Church at Kawea," near Fresno, and a member of a "secretive cohort of militant fundamentalists" preparing for war against Muslims in spring 2012. He believed that California was riddled with Muslim Brotherhood sleeper cells "who are awaiting the trigger date and will begin randomly killing as many of us as they can."

Can someone please explain how this seemed like a good idea to Chairman Villaraigosa? I have never in my life seen anything like that at a Democratic National Convention and hope to never again.
And who is the woman who approaches him at the microphone and basically tells him to rule however he wants? This is not something we need happening at the DNC and certainly not with a million fucking television cameras rolling.
This is a clear picture of lady who said it to Villaraigosa. Does anyone recognize who she is?

The vandalism was suspected to have been a “price tag” attack by right-wing elements angry over the evacuation of Migron.
Lipman had led a six-member group from the community bearing flowers and a message of peace, he recounted:
“When we were just about to leave and workers were cleaning the door of the monastery that was lit on fire, and there was a guy who was scrubbing that said “Jesus was a monkey.” I felt, how could just give them and give flowers and walk away while this terrible thing another Jew did was up there. So I asked if we could help clean it away. At first, the worker cleaning it hesitated, but then he gave me his brush and cleaning solution, and we didn’t walk away until it was removed. I’m glad we did. It was wonderful to be part of the ‘tikkun’ (repair.)”
Such a great article. I encourage you to click on the link and read the whole thing- it's not terribly long. You'd be missing out on some of the reality of the situation which the 4 paragraphs I excerpted can't capture.
As the article makes clear, Rabbi Lipman may be far from a Left-Winger when it comes to his views. But what he is, is an example that common decency is not a political stance, it is a elemental component of all humanity. We may not all agree, but we have to learn to get along and respect one another.

On matters of national security, it is unusual for Israeli leaders, especially military leaders, to publicly disagree with the Prime Minister. It has often been seen as weakening and possibly endangering Israel. Reading through the comments by each, however, it's clear that they believe the most dangerous thing to Israel right now is a rogue war-hawk Prime Minister named Benjamin Netanyahu. Former director of Shin Bet (Israeli General Security Services) describes him as "messianic" and "not to be trusted".
A real eye-opener.

As a huge critic of this Administration, watching the RNC debacle is an excellent reminder...
...of just how incredibly fucking fucked up the GOP is in comparison and how much better, how much more competent, the Democratic Party is, even in their darkest hour.
I really wished both parties served The People better than they already do, but my god. My fucking god.
I think Rubio was the only person who actually gave a speech which was effective. The rest of them, including Romney and Ryan, gave idiotic bromides only varying in their saccharine content. The two low-lights were when they had Chris Christie AKA ManShark on stage and, of course, East Clintwood.
At the closing of the convention, Boehner even broke into tears.
I can't imagine an American objectively looking at the rolling clusterfuck of confusion that was the 2012 Republican National Convention and thinking "Those guys, YEAH!".
