TreasonousBastard's JournalA new hint for controlling overeating...
WebMD sends me (and lots of you, I bet) tons of emails with sensible tips on all sorts of things, not the least of which is healthy eating...
I know abut stuff like smaller buffet plates and drinking water, but I had no idea the color of your plates and bowls could affect your appetite.
Enjoy, and don't forget the bubble gum for shopping trips:

We'll find out who won eventually but...
I find it absolutely incredible that after these four years trump gets the amount of support he does.
Or any at all.
This is not any normal election. Reagan, the Bushes, Ike, McCain, Goldwater, Ford, Dole, Romney... Even Nixon, before the fall... We disagreed with them about serious policy and attitudes. But they had policies, and even if Reagan and Nixon had their scandals, none of them were working actively against the country and its people. They all genuinely believed they were doing their best for the nation.
How so many people miss that lack in this lopsided, snaggletoothed shiteater befuddles me.
Has our nation sunk so low, or did we just not notice since out past presidents and candidates never sunk this low before.
Whichever, it is disgusting and depressing that we are here.
I'll shut up now.
Intersections vs. circles vs. proper roundabouts
There are three roundabouts in my town that work very well. Except for the one that has one or two cars a year jumping a curb. The Pizza Hut there closed because it got hit twice in a year and a half.
New Jersey has absolutely the worst of them on the planet. I rear ended someone years ago when she slammed on the brakes in the newly "modernized" but dreaded Somerville circle. But, that's Joisey which will take any idea and do it with genius or fuck it up hopelessly, with little in between.
And then there's that big circle in Rome which left us in hysterical laughter and was far worse than the one in European Vacation. Amazing that no one got hurt and not even a fender dented.
But, anyway-- here's the facts and why Americans hate roundabouts even though they are better
