msnbc- use the correct gop logo, please.

i know this is one of those occupational hazard kind of things, but msnbc had turned the stars on the gop logo upside down. there is a long history of these symbols. the star that the dems use, with 2 "legs" on the ground has been a symbol for the female, and the good, the beginning. the star that the gop uses, standing on one point, is male, but also the goat- the devil.
i put no stock in this. but if you use it for the logo, you own it. msnbc- use the logo that they use. it is theirs. they own it.

r.i.p. my dearest barbie girl.

i would have 20 dogs at all times were it not for the duty to make sure they have a respectful and peaceful end. sometimes it is an easy call, and sometimes it it weighting what seem like a million factors. this one was a tough one. many little things on top of a set of hips that have been wasted away since she was a youngster. a painful life, borne like only a bully dog could. enjoying every difficult day. never complaining. always your sweet boxer self no matter what.
you were a fantastic companion barbie girl, and i hope i did the right thing today.
safe passage.
love always.

tile backers- usg fiberock

i have always used hardibacker, and loved it. now it is hard to find here, replaced by usg fiberock. it says it is 98% recycled material, cellulose. i am finding it very hard to trust this stuff. i mean, it looks more like a sponge than cement.
looked up a couple reviews online, and found some complaints, but.....
anyone know anything about this product?
