Krystal Anderson, a former cheerleader for the Kansas City Chiefs, died of sepsis last week following a stillbirth, according to her family. She was 40 years old.
Anderson, known to her friends as “Krissy,” was hospitalized at five months pregnant and delivered her daughter, Charlotte Willow, after doctors were unable to locate a heartbeat, friends told FOX4 News. She developed a fever a day after the birth. Her condition worsened and she battled sepsis, which eventually led to organ failure. Despite being placed on life support and undergoing three surgeries, she died early Wednesday morning.
“I feel lost,” her husband, Clayton Anderson, told the station. “There’s a lot of people in this house and it feels empty.”
While overall maternal deaths in the U.S. have steadily ticked up over the past two decades, Black women remain two to three times more likely to die in childbirth than white women, according to data from the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention. With the risks to Black mothers exacerbated by implicit bias and medical racism, they are also more likely to experience life-threatening complications like preeclampsia, postpartum hemorrhage, and blood clots.

Could this tragedy have been avoided with timely abortion care? The doctors didn't take action until there was no heartbeat detected from the fetus. There's no mention of Missouri's abortion ban in the article, but it seems that Krystal was failed by her doctors, the hospital and state law.

ATLANTA — Channel 2 Action News has learned the judge on the election interference case has granted a defense request to allow an appeal of his order that kept the Fulton County District Attorney Fani Willis on the case.
Channel 2 investigative reporter Mark Winne obtained a copy of the “Certificate of Immediate Review” signed by Judge Scott McAfee, who ruled on Friday that Willis and her office could stay on the case if Special Prosecutor Nathan Wade withdrew, which he did on the same day.
The judge Friday also declined a defense request to dismiss the indictment against former President Donald Trump and others in the wake of defense claims about a romantic relationship between District Attorney Fani Willis and Wade.

Yikes. The crazy headline caught my attention but its troubling to read that these hate groups are growing and "decentralized."

Although many far-right groups once aligned themselves with former President Donald Trump, most have since grown disillusioned and criticize him for not doing enough to advance their extremist agenda.
"The groups I track have long since turned on Trump," Tischauser said, adding that some viewed Trump as a "puppet to Jewish interests who steals their nationalist rhetoric to win votes" and who "cannot be counted on to enact nationalist policies."

Something is not adding up
What am I missing here?
Why is a party coalescing around someone with 91 felony charges and trials that are set to begin in the spring?
Do they know something that we don't? Or is it extreme denial of reality?
Even if trump were to "win," nobody is getting sworn in until January 20th 2025. Is the plan to inaugurate him from a prison cell and then he pardons himself on day one? That is crazy AF!

Why the "hamas could end this at any time" excuse doesn't work
Imagine if a soldier pointed a gun to your head and said, "Someone in your town, named Charlie, killed our brother. If Charlie doesn't surrender, I'm going to kill you, and it will be Charlie's fault!"
The soldier starts walking up and down your neighborhood, shooting everyone in the head, each time blaming Charlie.
"Charlie killed you! Not me."
In other words, whether you live or die is dependent upon what a criminal named Charlie does.
Does that sound fair or logical to you?
The bombs that are flattening Gaza are coming from Israel. Nobody else. The 18,000 mostly women, babies, children and doctors who have been killed, were killed by Israel.
And as far as the hamas terrorists? They were all allowed to escape after 10/7/23, when Israel's military waited up to 26 hours before responding to the attack. They're probably not even in Gaza anymore, thanks to bibi's massive failure of a response to an attack that he had over a year to prepare for. He failed miserably and is now bombing innocent people as a cruel deflection and distraction.
