Pope pushed by 'VatiLeaks', says paper

February 23, 2013

ROME: Pope Benedict resigned after an internal investigation informed him about a web of blackmail, corruption and gay sex in the Vatican, Italian media have reported.

Three cardinals were asked by Benedict to verify allegations of financial impropriety, cronyism and corruption exposed in the so-called VatiLeaks affair.

The inquiry was led by a three-man panel, headed by a Spanish cardinal, Juliá´n Herranz. Cardinal Salvatore De Giorgi, former archbishop of Palermo, and Slovak cardinal Jozef Tomko, assisted him.

On December 17, 2012, they handed the pontiff two red-leather bound volumes, almost 300 pages long, containing ''an exact map of the mischief and the bad fish'' inside the Holy See, La Repubblica reported.

Ted Nugent gets seated next to Thomas Lauderdale..of Portland's world-famous Pink Martini

http://www.blueoregon.com/2013/02/operation-sparkle-ted-nugent-gets-seated-next-thomas-lauderdale/

In the run-up to the State of the Union, one of the more controversial (and stupid) storylines has been that lunatic Tea Party Congressman Steve Stockman invited lunatic Tea Party rocker Ted Nugent as his guest. In the world of politics, Nugent has been known for his on-stage racist and violent rhetoric toward President Obama - and has even received a visit from the Secret Service for his efforts.

Meanwhile, what wasn't known until the broadcast got underway, is that musician Thomas Lauderdale - of Portland's world-famous Pink Martini - was invited to the State of the Union as a guest of our own Congressman Earl Blumenauer.

And either through some bizarre twist of fate or a wicked sense of humor from whichever party planner made the seating chart, Nugent and Lauderdale wound up sitting next to each other.
