Pat Robertson Says God Told Him Trump Would Be Reelected--and That It Would Bring About the End Times

“The next thing is the election that's coming up in just a few weeks, at which time—according to what I believe the lord told me—the President is going to be reelected. I'm saying by all means, get out and vote. Vote for whoever you want to vote for, but by all means, let your voice be heard, but it's going to lead to civil unrest of great proportions, then the lord gets to Israel and so forth and so on."

Trump tries to soften his image by adopting a dead dog.

WASHINGTON—Flopping the putrescent animal carcass down in the Oval Office with an introduction of “call him whatever you want, I don’t care,” President Donald Trump announced Monday that the first family had a new member, a dead dog reportedly adopted to soften his image before election day.

“I saw this on the side of the road and I told the Secret Service, ‘Stop the motorcade, that’s it, that’s a brilliant idea, it’s gonna be perfect,’” said Trump as he grabbed an ear to lift up the limp, withered remains of the golden retriever, allowing the media to capture a few images of the deceased canine before its ear tore away, its body fell at his feet, and its head rolled down a limestone walkway in a puddle of blood and brain matter.

“That’s good, lie down. And stay down, okay? They say if you want a friend in Washington, get one of these—of course, I have friends already, so many friends, but here it is anyway. Here’s a dog. Everyone says this breed is very loyal, so we’ll see, we’ll see. Could become the best dog any president has ever had. I’m told it has a great pedigree, and I’m expecting great things.”

At press time, Trump was seen kicking the dead dog’s head down the West Wing Colonnade after internal polling showed its approval rating was higher than his.

Man at airport arrested for smuggling gold hidden in his rectum.

Authorities at an airport in India recently busted a passenger who had about two pounds in gold concealed in his rectum, officials said.

The passenger was stopped by customs officers after arriving at Kannur Airport in Kerala from Dubai on Tuesday, according to the Comissionerate of Customs.

Officials later extracted nearly a kilogram of flattened precious metal that the man had inserted into his body.

The man stashed the gold in an effort to sneak it past Indian authorities to avoid an 18 percent tax, The National News reported.

Another passenger on the same flight was found to be in possession of three pounds of gold, according to the news outlet. Officials did not disclose where the pounded metal was hidden.

Interesting article about Nashville(1975) from the BBC.

Nashville, Tennessee is a storied city. It’s home to the Grand Ole Opry, the major ‘you’ve made it, kid’ live venue for country stars, and is widely thought of as the major incubator of country music in the United States. It was 45 years ago when Robert Altman and screenwriter Joan Tewkesbury cast their eye on the city as a backdrop to their 1975 film of the same name. Within an expansive near three-hour running time, they combined a realistic – if heightened – vision of the country music capital with their thoughts on a turbulent political era in the US, sewing their impressions of the star-spangled, hairsprayed, patriotic heartland into a ragged tapestry, and one that was beginning to fray at its edges.

Scott Baio is one bad-ass MFer!

President Trump does not have much of a fan club in Hollywood. Jennifer Lopez, Robert De Niro, John Legend, Miley Cyrus and countless others have spoken out about why they don’t support him.

Some of the celebrities who do actively back Trump, including Kristy Swanson, Dean Cain, Scott Baio and Isaiah Washington, sat down with the director of a new documentary filmed during the pandemic and amid the protests sparked by the police killing of George Floyd, Trump vs. Hollywood, to talk about what that feels like.

Barak says she was inspired to make the movie after seeing so much division.

In the documentary’s first trailer, which was released Tuesday, former Lois and Clark actor Cain, gave his perspective: “There’s no compassion. They’re so hypocritical, it’s unreal. They just don’t like the man.”

Actress Swanson asked, “Why is it not OK in Hollywood to be a conservative?”

The Buffy the Vampire Slayer star said she hopes for change.

“I feel that it’s time to set the example of let’s just all get along, ya know?” she said. “We can learn from each other. We don’t have to hate each other.”

When it was Charles in Charge star Baio’s turn, he was much less conciliatory: “If you’re not hiring me because I’m a conservative, shame on you. If there’s a civil war, then don’t forget who has all the guns.”

He also lamented, “It bothers me that people won’t speak to me, because I’m a Trump guy.”
