Another batch of Canna/Coconut Oil

I'm very impressed with the potency of this batch of oil. I grew a different strain this time...White Widow. Very strong. 1 ml and I'm relaxed but can function just fine. It's a body relaxation that for me borders on being blissful but my mind is not wandering like when stoned. 4 mls and I'm baked and ready for bed. It's good for sleep in that quantity although the high can be distracting as you drift off.

I made some brownies also I substituted 5 of 8 tablespoons the recipe called for with my magic oil.
One half a brownie equals about 4 mls of goodness so I haven't tried a whole brownie and probably won't...lol.

Here's how I made it.

Grew White Widow autoflowers.
Making canna/coconut oil.
These flowers smell intense and are very sticky.

Recipe:
36 grams cut up and decarbed flowers (60 min @ 240°F in a Pryex baking dish with lid).
24 fl oz of Dr Bronner's Organic Coconut Oil.
1 heaping tablespoon of Sunflower Lecithin powder.

MBM2e (Magical Butter Machine 2e)
Two 1 hour cycles @ 190F.
Two 1 hour cycles @ 160F.

I strain it of course with the provided micro screen.
I have these cool silicone chocolate molds the shape of Hershey Kisses I fill with a big eye dropper type syringe.
Then into the freezer to harden up.
Then into vacuum seal bags and into the refrigerator.

I also fill triple 0 capsules and store in the refrigerator. I squeeze them out and dissolve in my mouth for better effect than swallowing the capsule.

Caps = 1ml
Kisses = 4ml

Peace/Love

Militants bulldoze through Native American archeological site, share video rifling through artifacts

Armed militants at the Malheur Wildlife Refuge continue to damage both the delicate ecosystem of the refuge and archeological sites of critical importance to the Burns Paiute Tribe. Amanda Peacher from Oregon Public Broadcasting shared photos of what appeared to be a new road in the refuge and got confirmation that not only is the road new, it goes through a vitally important area:

The U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service confirmed Thursday that not only is the road built last week by the occupiers new, but it is also within an archaeological site important to the Burns Paiute Tribe.

Here's why creating single-payer health care in America is so hard

I'm interested in what you all think of this article.
Being for single-payer and Bernie myself I understand what is being written here in terms of what we face.

We must continue forward towards healthcare as a right and not a privilege!

Here's why creating single-payer health care in America is so hard
To become politically feasible, an American single-payer system would necessarily replicate our current system’s most glaring defects.
Updated by Harold Pollack on January 16, 2016, 11:20 a.m. ET

The Hillary Clinton campaign is taking some hard knocks from liberals over its maladroit attacks on Bernie Sanders’ single-payer proposal. In one sense, the knocks are well-deserved. Even if single-payer markedly lowers medical expenditures, proponents such as Larry Seidman estimate that a tax increase of at least 8 percent of GDP would likely be required to finance it. That’s a heavy political lift. It’s about as much as the entire federal income tax on individuals.

Yet as proponents rightly observe, these taxes would replace many visible and invisible ways we now provide to support a health sector that consume more than 17 percent of our economy. The experience of peer industrial democracies suggests that a well-designed single-payer system would be more humane and markedly less expensive than what we have right now.

A Democratic Party at the Crossroad

I see this primary fight as a struggle for the soul of the Democratic Party.
Are we going to settle for the post 1992 Democratic Party of the DLC (Democratic Leadership Council) that the Clintons built? The corporate paid-for party, that occasionally throws a crumb to "we the people"?

Or instead are we going to embrace the party of FDR?
A party that is not focused on how much Wall St corporate ass it can kiss but rather on building and strengthening our social safety nets, rebuilding our infrastructure, and revitalizing the middle-class. A populist party once again.

This is the crossroad as I see it.
No matter who is nominated we need to pressure them towards us and keep that pressure on.
I believe it will require far less pressure if Bernie is nominated.

'Every gun in house is loaded'

Terrorism...pure and simple.

It's a sad day when the Feds value their image over the safety of us citizens by letting this continue.

'Every gun in house is loaded' -- scare tactics rattle residents near Oregon occupation

"Many of these confrontations are taking place as their employees are grocery shopping, running errands with their families and trying to lead their day-to-day lives," the sheriff's statement said.

A key refuge employee last week was escorted out of the area by law enforcement, apparently over concerns militants had accessed employee work files. His departure was so abrupt that he asked a neighboring rancher to look out for his cattle for him. The friend hauled the cattle back to his own ranch for tending.

My distillation of why the Bundys get the kid glove treatment

Authoritarianism respects itself.

It's like looking in the mirror for law enforcement.
They look, believe, and act just like those they are suppose to be enforcing the law on.

That's my 2 cents.

Here's what happens when Native Americans defend their land

Here’s What Happened When These Unarmed Native American Sisters Defended Their Land from the Feds

Like the Bundys, the Dann sisters tried a standoff with the BLM. But it ended very differently.

The double standard in the media’s treatment of Ammon Bundy and his gang at the Malheur National Wildlife Refuge is shameful, but the case of the Dann sisters underlines even further the disparity in how non-white activists are treated.

Carrie and Mary Dann, two elderly Shoshone women who have defied seizure of their land, have been repeatedly roughed up and harassed by federal officials and mobs of white ranchers for refusing to cede their claim to land that was illegally stolen from them 30 years ago.
