To the ass holes blaming the refuges for the Paris attacks

You ought to let it sink in for a moment that these attackers are the people the refuges are trying to get away from.

Ex-CIA director: White House ignored months of warnings about 9/11 to avoid leaving ‘paper trail’

Ex-CIA director: White House ignored months of warnings about 9/11 to avoid leaving ‘paper trail’ of culpability

Tom Boggioni Raw Story

In an explosive revelation during an interview with Politico, the former CIA director during President George W. Bush’s administration claims his department informed White house officials over impending Al Qaeda attacks months before the president received the infamous “Bin Laden Determined to Strike in U.S.” presidential briefing.

According to ex-CIA head George Tenet and Cofer Black, then chief of the CIA’s counterterrorism center, they called an emergency meeting with National Security Adviser Condoleezza Rice on July 10 of 2001 saying they had evidence that an attack on the U.S. was imminent and that it would be “spectacular.”

Beginning in May of 2001, Tenet and Black launched an initiative called “the Blue Sky paper” and pitched it to Bush’s national security team. The CIA called for a joint CIA and military campaign to end the Al Qaeda threat by “getting into the Afghan sanctuary, launching a paramilitary operation, creating a bridge with Uzbekistan.”

Larry Wilmore Breaks Down The GOP Debate: 'This Isn't Funny Anymore. It's Just Stupid.'

Video at link below.

The Nightly Show's Larry Wilmore opened his show this Wednesday night with a recap of this week's Fox Business Republican debate, and like everyone else in America, had to figure out first if he even got Fox Business Network and where to find it on the dial.

First up was narcolepsy American Ben Carson, who had Wilmore so distracted by the fact that he can't keep his eyes open that he didn't hear a word he said, and wondering if Carson writes his answers inside his eyelids – followed by Ted Cruz, who managed to work in a Bible reference when talking about the tax code – which left Wilmore wondering why Republicans have to act like it's the end of the world that there's a little complexity in our tax code.

As Wilmore noted, in the GOP primary, Republicans “love having this conversation, and you don't want to be a smart elitist... You've got to be an everyday Joe.”

Like Marco Rubio, who, as we already discussed here, claimed that welders make more money than philosophers.

WILMORE: Outside of the fact that philosophers actually make more than welders, it's your party's philosophy to destroy the unions that make it possible for welders here who are trying to protect their jobs.

That's why all welders are becoming philosophers – to find out how the fuck this happened!

But the ultimate expression of contempt for higher thinking is the frontrunner himself.

Is Ben Carson's real reason he is running for President backfiring? Selling books?

November 8, 2015 By Allen Clifton

Snip>

In fact, I’ve long had a theory that Ben Carson isn’t running to actually win, he’s running to boost his name recognition and set himself up to make millions once he abandoned his campaign. After all, what better way to sell more books, get paid larger fees for speeches and make a whole lot more money than you already were than by getting all the attention that a presidential candidate receives?

Think about it. He releases a book just as he decides he’s going to run for president, even taking time off his campaign to go on his book tour. Then there were reports that, at least early on in his campaign, he was still being paid to give speeches. That’s highly unusual considering doing so could potentially lead to a candidate violating campaign finance laws.

I honestly don’t believe Ben Carson was prepared to reach this level of popularity with conservative voters. If my theory is correct (and again, it’s just my theory), his “plan” to use his presidential campaign as a money-making scheme is backfiring as his many lies and insane comments from the past are now being exposed on a national stage. That doesn’t bold well for someone who wanted to become a more mainstream fixture after his campaign ultimately folded. After all, it’s really difficult to negotiate new, more lucrative book deals and speaking engagements when your past books have been exposed for being filled with blatant lies and insane comments you’ve made in the past gain national attention.
