I was in a Fraternity in College for a couple of years. I left because of guys like Kavanaugh

My Dad was in a Fraternity back in the 50's and had talked me into it. It wasn't really my thing right from the beginning. I am not saying all Fraternities and people in Fraternities are bad but they attract a number of people who remind me of A LOT of Kavanaugh!!!! Arrogant pricks whose parents were loaded and would send them money for food and they would buy kegs instead. There were only two of us out of like 50 to 60 guys who worked our way through college. Most guys were not from middle class backgrounds but people from prestigious families.

To make a long story short there were about 7 to 10 guys who so much remind me of Brett Kavanaugh. They came from wealth, thought they were big shots, they constantly drank, they were demeaning and disrespectful to women or anyone they thought was inferior to them. Yes, they were very conservative! Not unusual as most in the Fraternity were conservative and only a few of us were not. I clashed with them more than once and over time I just found myself less and less interested in any of it. I eventually left and never looked back. Had a much better time in college after it was in my past. I don't want to completely diss Greek life because I think for some it's a great thing and there were some absolutely amazing guys in there as well. Guys I still am friends with today. Had it not been for a small group of dick heads it would have been fine.

Watching Brett Kavanaugh reminds me so vividly of the mindset and white privilege and arrogant male chauvinistic piggery that I saw from those 7 to 10 guys. I don't know if any of them sexually assaulted any women but I would guess they probably did based on how they talked about women and some of the stories were dam close to sexual assault or perhaps was. It was certainly abusive. They talked about women as though they were less than human. I remember stores like a guy having sex with one of the little sisters, getting off and then pushing her off of him saying "Get off me!" And as she got dressed he said he yelled, "And turn on the air conditioner on your way out!" To which the guy telling the story said she would would finish tentatively put her clothes back on and then turn the air conditioner on; then they would bust up laughing. So the part about Ford saying they were laughing as they bounced off the walls brought that story back to me so vividly. I remember very clearly saying, "That's fucked up!" to the guy. I swear to God I actually said that. Every time I would see her after that I would remember that story. She was a girl who was very unsure of herself to begin with and I always felt sorry for her. This is just one example of talk that went on all the time.

I have ALWAYS despised guys like this. Something about them makes my skin crawl. I see Kavanaugh's wife listening to him and I wonder how on Earth she can stand him? Her expressions make me wonder if she does secretly hate his guts.

On the same note, Kavanaugh and those guys in the Fraternity remind me so much of the Socs in the book 'The Outsiders'

Phil Mudd warns that sexual assault allegations are just the start of Brett Kavanaugh's problems

Phil Mudd warns that sexual assault allegations are just the start of Brett Kavanaugh’s problems in the FBI investigation

Former CIA officer Phil Mudd explained during CNN’s Jake Tapper Friday’s show that an FBI investigation into Supreme Court nominee Brett Kavanaugh could be extremely beneficial.

Kavanaugh is being investigated for sexual assault claims made against him by Dr. Christine Beasley Ford. Originally, the GOP was reluctant to an FBI investigation, but Thursday’s hearing in front of the Senate Judicial Committee appears to have changed their minds.

“What could the FBI investigation do that might have any sort of consequences?” Tapper asked.

“I think there’s one substantial question that we missed. The focus so far has been on trying to get information about what happened at that house party 30-something years ago,” Mudd said. “Clearly, that’s something that will come up in the investigation. And that’s what the White House is going to charge the FBI with doing.”

Mudd added, “I think there is a possibility, and I’m not saying this will happen, but in any case I witnessed — you get a story from friends 30-something years ago that doesn’t correspond with the lifestyle story [that Kavanaugh painted] and that’s a lack of candor. Something you can see well beyond the assault allegations. “

Watch Mudd explain more in the video below via CNN.

So it sounds like there will be a vote tomorrow?

That seems like a bad sign. If they didn't have the votes don't you think they would avoid voting?

Four Republican governors want Senate to delay vote on Kavanaugh

Washington (CNN)One of the country's most popular Republican governors on Thursday called for an independent investigation into the allegations made against Supreme Court nominee Brett Kavanaugh and said the Senate should hold off on a vote.

Massachusetts Gov. Charlie Baker made the comments as Professor Christine Blasey Ford testified before the Senate Judiciary Committee that Kavanaugh sexually and physically assaulted her.

"The accusations brought against Judge Kavanaugh are sickening and deserve an independent investigation," Massachusetts Governor Charlie Baker tweeted. "There should be no vote in the Senate."

Baker, who faces re-election this November, is one of only a few Republican governors, all political moderates, to express dissatisfaction with the committee's handling of the allegations made against Kavanaugh.

I think saving the calendar SCREAMS guilt!

Seriously! Who the fuck would save a calendar like that unless they were waiting for the day they could use it to exonerate them-self? I bet he woke up the next day sober and was thinking "Holy fuck! What if she tells her Dad, what if this comes up a few months from now once she gets the courage to do something? I better come up with something that will make me look innocent. I know! I can put keep my calendar and write in similar shit and not put that gathering in!"

Then of course he decided to hold onto it long after knowing in the back of his mind he might need it one day. He probably had a few things on there and then went back and wrote in a few other things and omitted of course on purpose a tiny get together with four people that was probably a spur of the moment thing. I remember probably 75% of the parties I went to back in HS and college were gatherings that just popped up that day.

To me this calendar makes him look much more guilty than if he hadn't saved it.

I have hated Kavanaugh's guts since I saw him refuse to shake the hand

the shooting victim's father. It's so refreshing to see all this coming out on that fucking bastard!

Twitter Roasts Brett Kavanaugh For Calendars He Claims To Have Kept At 17

Supreme Court nominee Brett Kavanaugh is providing calendars he kept in 1982 to the Senate Judiciary Committee to back up his denial of a sexual assault allegation against him, The New York Times is reporting.

Kavanuagh’s team admits the calendars do not disprove the alleged assault took place, but say they also do not corroborate the allegations of his accuser, Christine Blasey Ford. Blasey claims Kavanaugh pinned her to a bed and groped her when they were at a party in high school, and that she only escaped when his friend Mark Judge jumped on them.

People on Twitter were quick to drag the nominee and his team for thinking a calendar kept by a 17-year-old Kavanaugh would be a viable defense.
