Eyewitnesses knock down conspiracy theories about LaVoy Finicum dying on his knees

Melvin Lee, who said he was traveling with the group headed north up U.S. 395, said the first vehicle — which contained militant leader Ammon Bundy and his bodyguards, Brian “Booda” Cavalier and Mark McConnell — was stopped by law enforcement offices serving an arrest warrant.

A second vehicle — which contained Ryan Bundy, Ryan Payne, Shawna Cox, Finicum and Victoria Sharp — went around their stopped comrades’ vehicle but ran into a blockade about a mile away.

“There happened to be some arguments between the guys in the truck,” Lee said. “Somehow they got Ryan Payne pulled out of the truck, apparently. LaVoy had took off — he ended up hitting a snowbank, I guess, trying to get around the blockade. After he hit that snowbank, he came out of that truck and he charged at the law enforcement (officers) — as I understand it.”

I think the FBI deserves credit for preventing a Waco and getting almost all of them alive

From my point of view the FBI and Obama who I am sure had some say in this, handled this perfectly. Here we were all saying they needed to block them in, cut the power etc. but allowing them to drive around and get dildos and French Vanilla creamer was perfect! They gave them just enough rope to hang themselves, completely piss off the locals and lose the PR war in spectacular fashion. Not to mention, because they thought they were free to drive around, they just waited for most of them to be on a secluded road to make their move.

I am wondering if the Sheriff from Grant County punked them? He was saying he would back them up in his county and they bought because things were quickly going south in Harney County, so they all tried to drive up there to a country where they had support from "the highest law official of the land" the Grand County Sheriff (at least as far as the idiot sovereign citizens are concerned). Little did they know they were driving right into a trap!

It's possible the Grant County Sheriff didn't punk them and was on their side, so perhaps the FBI knew they needed to nab them before they got support from a local yokel sheriff and the Yokel Haram nut-burgers gained some traction; who knows? Regardless I commend the FBI and State Police for the way this was handled.

By the way, I suspect the Oregon Governor was in frequent communications with the FBI and Obama and was told when she should start calling for it to end.

Bundy militant threatens cops in drunken rant: ‘I will kill all of you’

The following release has been authorized by the Harney County District Attorney’s Office:
On January 25, 2016 at about 11:45AM, the Harney County Sheriff’s Office received a report of an armed adult male at the Hines Market who made comments he wanted to join the militia at the refuge and help with killing federal agents.

Law enforcement personnel responded and made contact with the male, identified as Joseph A STETSON, age 54, of Woodburn. During the contact, it appeared STETSON was armed with a handgun (it turned out to be a pellet gun in a belt holster). STETSON told troopers he was intending on being the personal guard for the Bundys.

It was determined through the contact that STETSON was believed to be impaired and was arrested by troopers for Driving Under the Influence of Intoxicants (alcohol). During the arrest, he repeatedly made death threats towards the officers and resisted arrest prior to being placed into a patrol vehicle. After being placed in the patrol vehicle, STETSON kicked the vehicle door, damaging it.

STETSON was lodged at the Harney County Jail for DUII and Resisting Arrest

Recently found out my very Republican boss and two other Republican co-workers

are probably going to sit this election out. They don't like anyone and they have basically tuned out. This all occurred while I was up at our main office for meetings last week and politics came up at lunch. Also, we were watching the news at his house when they started talking about Carly Fiorina saying "Unlike Hillary she likes being with her husband" and his wife who is also quite conservative thought that was extremely tacky and uncalled for. However, there was not one candidate they liked on either side. Who knows, they may still hold their breath and vote for Trump or whomever but if they are thinking about sitting things out that means a lot of Republican's are not motivated.

Just a little snap-shot into the conservative world that surrounds me.

PS. I also remember them being really worried Trump would piss someone off and get us into a war. If people think you could cause WWIII you no longer win on National Security.

Anti-Trump Super PAC Releases Brutal New Ad on His History of Liberal Positions

A newly-launched anti-Donald Trump Super PAC put out a pretty blistering ad this week going through Trump’s entire history of backing more liberal positions.

Our Principles PAC was founded by a top Romney 2012 campaign official, and all she told Politico was, “Our Principles PAC has focused on conservative principles and ensuring that voters have the necessary information to make a wise decision on Election Day.”


The ad goes through a whole litany of liberal statements from Trump, including on the 2016 campaign trail, and how he has effusively praised Hillary Clinton and President Obama plenty of times. A lot of these clips are already familiar to people, but putting them all together like that really packs a punch.

The ad is titled “The Trump Tapes: Vol. 1,” which presumably means there’s more on the way.

Why it's possible the "Socialist" tag won't have any teeth this election cycle

The public seems to be onto the elite's propaganda game so having them cry "socialist" may have reached a point where the public knows it's just the 1%ers and corporate media screaming wolf and that maybe the reason they have been screaming "wolf / socialist" all this time is because it's against their best interest and possibly beneficial to the masses?

Not to mention, Republicans have been calling Obama a socialist (more crying wolf) since day one and to the public who have gotten to know him and watch us slowly dig out from Bush's disaster, he seems pretty reasonable and not anything to fear. So the word socialist has kind of lost any negative meaning it might have carried 8 years ago because Republicans have over-used it.

Finally, when the public hears Sanders is a socialist but then see him standing up to those at the money tables and talking about money issues that really pertain to them personally, I think it takes away from the negative emotions the word use to arouse.
