Lindsey Graham & John McCain are likely to mount aggressive opposition to Tillerson as sec.of state

Donald Trump’s leading candidate for secretary of state, ExxonMobil CEO Rex Tillerson, would accelerate the president-elect's collision course with Congress over his relationship with Russian President Vladimir Putin and raise new questions about Putin’s role in the election.

Tillerson, whom Trump officials now call the front-runner for America’s top diplomatic job, has spent hours with Putin negotiating billions of dollars in Russian oil projects, and is believed to be on friendlier terms with the Russian autocrat than all but a handful of Americans. He has also been critical of U.S. sanctions imposed on Russia since 2014.

The potential selection of a Putin friend for the critical post is raising alarm in both parties that Trump intends to act on his campaign talk of refashioning a U.S.-Russian relationship now at its most adversarial point since the end of the Cold War.

Republican Senators John McCain and Lindsey Graham are likely to mount aggressive opposition to Tillerson, according to sources familiar with their thinking.

Not sure about a new election but Electoral College should not vote Trump in now

I think that is pretty clear. While I would like to see a new election and perhaps it is possible, I think the focus should be on pressuring the Electoral College not to trust Trump as he may be either working in conjunction with or compromised by Putin.

So it looks like conservatives NEVER had an issue with socialism as long as it goes to white people

If you check out around the 9:30 minute mark of the video below he flat out says he is fine with socialism but only if it goes to white people. My gut it this is the way a lot of Republicans think but won't admit it.

Van Jones, the answer is directly above:

On the Michael Slager trial. Would be interesting to re-enact the video but with a white man running

and getting shot in the back, then get reactions from say 100 white folks. Also show the real video to 100 completely different white folks and see how much the numbers change. If someone had the ability to do it, set up a fake trial based on the same situation with the guy running in the video being say a white teenager and see what the results of the trial would be.

Is someone here capable of doing this and making it look genuine? I am so infuriated he is going to get off!

Donald Trumps Harassment of a Teenage Girl on Twitter Led to Death and Rape Threats. NY Magazine

By By Claire Landsbaum

In October 2015, then-18-year-old Lauren Batchelder asked Trump a question at a political forum in New Hampshire. “So, maybe I’m wrong, maybe you can prove me wrong, but I don’t think you’re a friend to women,” she said. Trump defended himself, and Batchelder took the mic again, asking if she’d get equal pay and access to abortion with Trump as president. Trump answered: “You’re going to make the same if you do as good of a job, and I happen to be pro-life, okay?”

Batchelder thought that was the end of it, but when she woke up the next day, she realized that the current president-elect had sent out a series of tweets about her. “The arrogant young woman who questioned me in such a nasty fashion at No Labels yesterday was a Jeb staffer!” he tweeted. (Batchelder is not, and has never been, a staffer for Jeb Bush, though she did volunteer for his campaign.) His followers replied with screenshots of Batchelder and posted her phone number and other personal information online.

Within hours, her phone began to ring, and her email inbox and Facebook account filled with threatening messages. “I didn’t really know what anyone was going to do,” Batchelder, now 19, told the Washington Post. “He was only going to tweet about it and that was it, but I didn’t really know what his supporters were going to do, and that to me was the scariest part.”

She said the abuse has continued, prompting one Trump supporter to send her a Facebook message five days before the election that read, “Wishing I could f—ing punch you in the face. id then proceed to stomp your head on the curb and urinate in your bloodied mouth and i know where you live, so watch your f—ing back punk.”
