Massive and prolonged general strike.

Probably one of the only things I can think of that might compel a removal of the disease that afflicts us, should all else fail.

Does this make sense to anyone else?

Is there a best source of info for activism? To know where/when protests are, and other stuff?

Websites? Twitter handles? Forums/subforums?

These things happen but a lot of people don't know how to find the stuff until they see news and it's already happened.

Do you know anyone experiencing voter remorse over Trump? Tell your story.

I'm interested in specific stories from people you know who were Trump supporters/voters and are currently horrified by what's going on and/or have expressed remorse over their vote.

I'm aware there are websites like areyousorryyet.com but I'm interested in people's actual experience with people they know.

I'm in a deep red area in a deep red state. My suspicion is that anyone here who is beginning to experience remorse will stay quiet until things start getting really bad for Trump, i.e. looking like he's going to have to leave the White House one way or another. If people start openly expressing regret and misgivings about Trump where I am, I'll know he's in huge trouble, although the trouble may have started earlier and not been as evident to me.

I feel like the protestor punching red hats will never change or admit error, but I'm hoping some "yeah Trump's terrible but I voted for him because HER EMAIL SERVER" people will express remorse and not vote for him again.

Are any of you cashing out investments?

I don't see how this incredible fascist shit show could fail to dump the market at some point in the fairly near future, tax breaks and deregulation nonwithstanding, this whole shit feels so unstable right now. How can investors possible feel comfortable with it?

I'm astounded that the markets haven't taken a dump yet, with the election result, and now with this incredible circus.

It's not an issue of timing things exactly. I know you can't do that. If I dumped a bunch of U.S. securities tomorrow I wouldn't be shocked if the markets continued to go up another spell before what I consider to be inevitable.

I'd never short the market, to me that has too much upside risk, but I could see consolidating some gains and decreasing risk for a bit.

This election should be written as an Ant and Grasshopper illustrated book.

Clinton as the Ant, Trump as the Grasshopper.

The Ant building a GOTV apparatus, registering voters, raising money, buying ads, prepping for debates.

The Grasshopper having a bunch of rallies about how great he is and doing none of the rest.

The Ant sweeping in with 370+ electoral votes and a Senate majority.

So Ryan's district in WI has a "Trump Conservative Party" candidate on the ballot.

Spencer Zimmerman. Did they arrange this in advance? Can you get on the ballot at the last minute there?

Hilarious if this results in Ryan's ouster. Any polling of this district?

One silver lining to this election is that Trump will be so radioactive his businesses are screwed.

He'll never get another TV show, and the business of the hotels and resorts bearing his name will undoubtedly suffer.

I don't think he's going to get a ton of customers at his resorts from the Redhats.
