When are the GOP finally going to bail on Trump? Have they lost their minds? Look at him.

It's not even an issue of any specific policy. He's a madman melting down, ranting and raving.

How could anyone, even if you felt this guy was closer to you in policy (and he has none), feel that this guy should lead the country?

It's too late for GOP to save their skins/seats, but they could still kill this candidacy, ensure that he will lose by so much that the danger of his idiots rioting and killing people is diminished.

He's a fascist. Look at him for Christ's sake. Can't they see the danger?

They're really going to stay with him just for their stupid seats? This is so much bigger than that.

Are the authenticity of the wikileaks emails being verified in any way?

If reporters are just dutifully writing stories about all this stuff being fed to them what's to stop Putin or Assange to have completely forged or altered stuff in there?

I think Trump intends to make the whole election such a sewer he could win with low turnout.

I think mostly he is flinging poop everywhere because he's an undisciplined maniac.

But I do think there could be a glimmer of strategy that if everyone gets disgusted enough and weary of it, if non deploreable people respond with weary disgust instead of righteous anger at him, that he could get close enough to win.

I think he's down in way too many states everywhere for it to work, but nothing should be allowed to diminish a huge win and repudiation of the GOP and fascist politics, as well as reclaiming Congress.

Crossposted from GD2016: My friend wants to give N.C. voters rides to the polls.

He has a few other volunteers too.

Is there any particular infrastructure set up for things like this?

Is there any people in particular he should contact other than the obvious ones of the state and local N.C. Democratic parties and the Clinton campaign?

Are there any particular areas or towns where they would do the most good?

"Deplorable" comment is obviously intended strategy. It's right in line with alt-right attack theme.

The word choice is too deliberate, that's not the kind of phrase that just falls out of your mouth when talking to reporters. (Whether you happen to like the particular phrase or not.)

It's clearly meant to continue driving a wedge between GOP voters and make it "okay" for the normally GOP voting soccer mom in Bucks County PA or the Wall St Journal reading guy in Grosse Point, MI and Shaker Heights, OH who feel uncomfortable being on the same team as a torch wielding lynch mob to vote HRC, Gary Johnson, stay home or whatever rather than doing what habit and their sense of GOP "duty" normally would compel them to do.

Whether the strategy is good or effective remains to be seen, the potential drawback/backfire is if these same GOPers identify even more with their "team" and take the "deplorable" as aimed at them and turn out even more than they would have.

The other, probably intended, effect is that it will likely provoke the deplorable ones into acting, well, deplorably, in very visible ways that can be covered by media, emphasizing the point.

Time for the "Guess the Movie From The ScreenShot" Game.

Here's how it works. Someone posts a screenshot. In the replies to that screenshot people guess what movie it's from. If no one guesses right, or even worse no one even has a clue and tries to guess, then additional screenshots should be posted in the replies as hints until the movie is guessed.

To make the game fun it's best to pick shots that don't show obvious things like the face of famous movie stars that were in the film, but do convey information about significant things from the film so that people who know the film well can guess.

Picking scenes that have basically no information (like some random street shot) kind of sucks, as does using super obscure movies that no one has seen (my opinion). I think it's good to post additional shots as hints especially if people just aren't getting it.

I usually get screenshots by playing the movie on my computer either with Netflix, Amazon Prime, or the streaming program for my cable TV service. I pause at the shot that I chose, and take a screenshot. Then I trim the extra bits on the edges with Microsoft Paint and upload to an image hosting site (imgur in my case).

How can one tell what is a "real" BlackLivesMatter website and what is not? Is there such a thing?

Is there a real organization or just a hashtag with sympathetic supporters?

In the aftermath of Bernie Sanders getting shut down at his rally earlier I can't for the life of me figure out whether there is a real organization that has either claimed credit or apologized for the incident, or if there is any way to do so.

Aren't there usually a bunch of "flash" insta-polls after any high profile debate? What gives?

Even though it's super early and it's the first primary debate, I'd figure this Trump fiesta would garner more interest than any debate in recent times and news organs would want to cash in on the easy clickbait of polling the immediate fallout.
