But I will say that if I ever happen upon Tucker Carlson on a sidewalk I won’t strike him of course, but the stream of obscenities and invectives flowing out of my mouth would be unceasing.

This morning I'm watching this fascinating author being interviewed by Alex Witt on MSNBC and he's elucidating the role that Der Fuhrer had in destroying the USFL - essentially everything this asshole touches turns to shit. After he goes through about ten things that Orange-u-Tang did to undermine the league, Alex Witt asks him, "Can you think of anything he did right?" or words to that effect.
The gentleman parried the question well...but WTF kind of question was that from her? And I don't want to hear that it's a journalistic question: the proper question would have been, "Was there any decision made by Mr. Trump which had a positive impact on the League in your opinion?". Her snide question was dismissive as if to say, "Yeah well you obviously hate him and are totally negative and inflammatory and you can't even consider the other side." At least that's how I read it. And yes, yes, you can make a case that she's amplifying what he was saying but I don't think so from her tone and sneer.
I'm no longer giving anyone the benefit of any doubt: you are either pro-democracy or a Nazi-fascist. It's the "game" they play, so I shall play it as well.
So if you're watching MSNBC with Richard Lui Saturday afternoon
you may as well just give up if you're a Democrat, right?
The consensus is that if the Democrats speak up against the neo-Nazi, fascistic Trump "Doctrine" and the orange-u-Tang himself, then they are simply energizing the Rethug Skinhead base which apparently constitutes 106% of the American Public and will thus doom the Democrats to Minority status for the rest of time. Of course, as we all know, inaction and uncaring leads to the Rethug Skinhead base winning elections as well.
Can you imagine a TeeVee show in the 1960's set in pre-WWII Germany wherein the protagonists throw up their hands, smile, and say, "Well we know Hitler is capable of anything including genocide but you daren't speak against him because the Brownshirts will be extra-energized in the streets, and we wouldn't want that, would we?"
These fucking ignorant bastards are leading this country down a path to utter and complete totalitarianism and complete repression and eradication of opposing opinion and thought, creating a Fahrenheit 451 society, a 1984 society, a Soyelent Green society, a World War Z society, Stephen King's "The Stand" Walking Dude Society, and Jack London's "The Scarlet Plague" Society and all we are supposed to do is relax and enjoy it.
Not I for one...
P.S. (If you can possibly find The Scarlet Plague, it is one of the greatest short stories written of its day and forecasts all the apocalyptic literature and film today. Jack London wove a masterpiece - it is available in Groff Conklin's first anthology "Omnibus of Science Fiction" published in the 1950's along with dozens of fantastic pieces of literature. I cannot recommend it highly enough )
P.P.S. This political shit is way out of hand and getting worse by the hour: I'm fearful that we are going to reach a point of no return to a semblance of Democracy that we "had" in previous years...it is frightening that the notion of a Supreme Court ruling which is not unanimous will be disregarded by the so-called Executive Branch. This is a sickness and evil beyond all scope.

Does anyone have a single fucking idea what’s really going on here? Anyone? Because this is all beyond absurd: if they wrote one of those surrealistic French plays like one of Cocteau’s, they couldn’t match the absurdity of this insanity proceeding apace on our teevee machines. I’m “living in another dimension, not of sight or sound, but of mind.” This is degenerating into a sewer of irrationality and pure insanity.
