Mad_Machine76's JournalThey've thrown the "Muslim Church" at President Obama
even though he isn't even a Muslim (and wouldn't/shouldn't matter even if he is). Hell, they've thrown everything AND the kitchen sink at him. That being said, Obama is too classy to go there and I'd be very disappointed in him if he did. I don't know why, however, him or the Dems would be wanting to go there. In fact, the only people whom seem to attack other people's religions (or lack thereof) seem to be...........Republicans!
Romney to solve gender gap problem in GE with "Etch-A-Sketch Strategy"- according to top surrogate
Sounds like this "Etch-A-Sketch" label will continue to dog Romney, particularly with comments like these from surrogates

Shake, shake, shake........................
This election is plenty winnable
provided that we get our people out to the polls (and they can actually cast a vote for him). I have sincere doubts that people will want to "take a chance" on Mitt Romney- not even some Republicans are willing to after all. Like the article, I think that the second question, however, is of profound importance. After all, retaining President Obama with a VERY hostile Republican Congress is going to ensure that very little gets done during a second Obama Presidency. The right-wing, smarting from yet another loss to the Kenyan Socialist gun grabber, will be completely unhinged and demand no less than his immediate impeachment from office- and, sadly, I expect that the Republicans will do everything in their power to make a second Obama Presidency a thoroughly miserable affair. Hopefully, people will choose better, however, given everything that has gone on during the past 3+ years.
I love the smell of hypocrisy in the afternoon
Republicans and their hate-radio minions can (and do) spend all day blasting and bashing President Obama and the Democrats mercilessly and saying the most hateful, heinous, libelous, scurrilous things about them through their use of lies, distortions, projections, etc. but when the President Obama and the Democrats strike back at them over their hateful, irrational, and misguided policies, they become all tender little "flower-lillies" whose feelings are easily hurt.
President Obama and Democrats didn't bring all of this sleaze and political "Mortal Kombat" to Washington DC and statehouses around the country and for far too long IMHO have tried to remain civil, with President Clinton working with the Republicans in Congress for six of his eight total years in office to get the people's business done in the 1990's despite their concerted attempts to run him out of office and the Democrats even worked with (P)resident George W. Bush in the wake of a misbegotten election outcome in 2000 and a massive terrorist attack in 2001 to keep the country and its citizens going, however President Obama, in contrast, wasn't given a single moment of grace from the Republicans since the very minute, hour, and day he was elected POTUS.
Rush Limbaugh, the GOP's head cheerleader and propagandist declared- almost immediately- that he wanted President Obama to fail and the rest of the Republican Party thought that that was the way to go and they have acted accordingly. No matter how much President Obama tried to work with them on things, particularly things that used to be able to garner some Republican support (i.e. immigration reform, cap & trade), they have repeatedly allowed (nay, encouraged) their seemingly overwhelming hatred of President Obama to prevent any constructive working arrangement despite the horrendous economic circumstances we ended up with by the time the Bush (mis-)administration's two terms FINALLY ended. Yet, they have the nerve to now complain about President Obama getting tough with them? OMFG!!!!
