Mad_Machine76's JournalPresident Obama should tell Boehner where to shove it IMHO.
If anybody owes anybody an apology and should adopt a "new attitude", well, do I really need to say?
Yeah but what about the so-called "free market"
that they worship? Guess they're afraid of a little competition? Yeah, it may not catch on and people may not buy one but that's how our system is supposed to work, of course............
How many times has Obama been at "his lowest job approval rating ever"?
Yet still he (and the Dems) is leaps and bounds ahead of Republicans in terms of approval and his the approval of ACA is higher than the approval of the Republican health care plan- of which there is none, let alone even a bill that they might vote on to replace ACA. Dems also hold an advantage on voter trust. How is THAT bad for us? President Obama isn't even running for re-election, so why does his popularity matter? I don't know what to make of the rest of the poll results other than it likely stems from ongoing misinformation by Republicans, Fox or the Kochs.
Doesn't make any sense
The media HAS been puffing him up a bit in recent months
by making Romney look "prophetic" about Russia and ACA and giving him a platform to attack his former opponent. Doubtful, however, that most people will forget that he explicitly wrote off nearly half the population in the country as not mattering because they are "takers". Plus, just, why would we want him as POTUS? Why would we want another Republican POTUS for that matter?
Almost sounds like the spiritual reincarnation of Torquemada
I know that she was probably trying to be "neat" or "folksy" but
I know that she is finished politically as far as running for office
but that won't stop us from hearing about her every utterance and it won't stop her from making money off of statements like this and she will, like Rush, still maintain a loyal and steady following from some people and politicians.
Yup
I think that the emergence of the Republican Tea Party in 2010 changed the calculus somewhat as well but it's beginning to seem more like a well-funded "fluke" than a long-lasting political realignment (thankfully) but the Republican Tea Party has been able to do a lot of damage in a short time and thanks to getting in power at the right moment to redraw districts, they've been able to somewhat cement their gains for at least a little while, unfortunately.
I think that the Dems had to moderate to win in the 1990's
Not really so much now that the demographics and politics seem to be naturally shifting more towards the left end of the spectrum. I think some Dems and pundits are still trying to catch up to the new reality.
