Mad_Machine76's JournalWhat *would* disqualify him?
I have no freakin' clue. Allegedly bribing an AG to drop charges against his "University" and telling people that he could get away with shooting somebody, among other things is not. However, Hillary having been SOS when Benghazi happened, having used a private e-mail server while SOS wherein nothing illegal happened, and having some mysterious health ailments that nobody but the "Hillary Healthers" seem to somehow know about are plenty to disqualify her.
Like normal people never get sick, right?
Trump, et al will play up every cough and sniffle.
Remember when some people
said that the Iraq War of being all about taking Iraq's oil and were accused of being paranoid/hyperbolic? Well, now we now have a Presidential candidate pretty much saying that that taking Iraq's oil (and, by extension, anybody's) would have been/would be justifiable. Why THIS would not immediately disqualify him as a Presidential candidate is beyond me.
Ummm.....we DO want high standards for our Presidents?
Don't we?
Did the MSM just get collective amnesia about 2001-2009 and how bad a POTUS George W Bush was?
And before they start talking about Trump selecting a bunch of "experts" for his cabinet to guide him, is anybody paying attention to the absolutely crazy people he picked to help with his campaign?
Am severely confused about this election- and recent polling
How is it that Trump is tied or (gulp) slightly leading Hillary in national polling now and we're supposed to act concerned by this, but he is barely clinging to leads in deep red states like Georgia and Arizona that NEVER go Democratic in Presidential election, not to mention his documented lack of a campaign apparatus?
The thought is too horrifying for me to consider
I have absolutely NO IDEA what I would do if Donald Trump were elected POTUS other than, maybe, to find a deep, dark hole in the ground to live in for the next 4-8 years and hope that our country is able to survive it mostly intact.
My questions to persistent worriers
are:
1.) Do you or do you not trust Hillary and her team (and the DNC) to run a competent campaign?
2.) Do you believe that Hillary and her team (and the DNC) are "resting on her laurels" and have become complacent/believing that Trump will just hand us a win in November?
3.) Do you really believe Hillary and her team (and the DNC) are trying to "throw" this election to Republicans- either in the Presidential race or Congressional races?
4.) Are you sure that Hillary is really not doing anything? Or is the MSM just still giving Donald "walking dumpster fire" Trump significantly more attention?
5.) Do you have ideas for what Hillary and/or the DNC could be doing better and if so, are you calling and writing them to share your wisdom?
6.) Are you feverishly working to encourage other people to GOTV for Hillary/Democrats on Election Day to deny Donald Trump the WH (and Republicans as many Congressional races as possible)?
There are so many better things to do with our time than sit around and worry aimlessly, especially about things that I'm fairly certain Hillary and the DNC have already been thinking about and trying to address.
