The most damning thing is that

5 years later the Republicans STILL HAVE NO PLAN!!!!

September 19, 2014

Sums up my thinking perfectly

Like in 2008, I'm still open to another candidate should one present him/herself but right now I think Hillary would be the best overall candidate if she decides to run

If we pull it out and hold the Senate

They will all act so totally dumbfounded like in 2012 when they were boosting Romney's chances to an outrageous degree and wound up looking stupid and out and out of touch. And they still, to this day, seem to want to pretend that Mitt was a good candidate who some of them even think that he was right about some things and should have been POTUS.

September 17, 2014

Well. Weirder strategies have worked I suppose

Like Mark Sanford debating a cardboard cutout of Nancy Pelosi, which, I guess, plays quite well in South Carolina.

What kind of sick f***

Advocates for using corporal punishment to "teach" children that being gay is wrong? Hannity, of course. I hope that his kids, if he has any, are not/were not raised by him.

Geez! The hype that ISIS is getting is unbelievable

Looks like the Neocons and their sympathizers have finally figured out how to shake us Americans out of our collective "war weariness"

The things that Dems in red states have to do to get elected there. Question: If we have to pander to red state idiocy and simple-mindedness in order to win, how are we helping advance our country and our civilization? Plus, I'm getting tired of Dems having to pander to right-wing prejudice against President Obama. Why do Dems have to apologize for supporting him when he hasn't done anything wrong or embarrassing (more so than any other politician)? If anything, Republicans ought to be way more embarrassed about their own candidates.

End? No. Will we be worse off if they win? Yes.

Count on it. Just GOTV. There may not be a whole lot President Obama can do with Congress regardless but Republicans can always make things more hellish for him (and us). If we keep the Senate, we can at least keep the sludge from the House from actually being voted on and potentially passing the House. McConnell has already told us that he and the rest of the GOP plan to play games with the budget process to try to force President Obama to sign off stuff that he'd never agree to otherwise. If it comes down to it, I think that the Republicans will have a weak hand if President Obama tells people what kind of junk the Republicans are trying mix into the budget but why even chance it? We may lose the Senate no matter what and that would be unfortunate but let's not be blase' about it. The odds are improving for Dems to hold the Senate and the election is currently too close to call. Let's do everything we can to hold on!

You mean, about prosperity?

Yeah, I have no clue. There is so much real evidence to the contrary.

All I can say is:

Are the respondents insane?
