Ha!

Indiana hasn't expanded Medicaid and our governor is very eager for SCOTUS to kill ACA subsidies to purchase health care coverage.

January 12, 2015

It seems like they have been doing this since ACA was passed

They are suddenly noticing all of the problems in the health care system that they mostly ignored before and giving the misleading impression that ACA is the culprit. Assuming that Republicans don't get further chances to weaken the law, some of the worst excesses of the system will be improved/are improving but there is much more reform that needs to get done

Obama will be blasted by Republicans

No matter what he does/doesn't do

January 11, 2015

And really, I can't say that I really blame them

Our "leaders" are constantly stepping all over them by making it harder to vote, making them pee in cups to get increasingly meager public assistance benefits (how humiliating is that?), accusing them of crass politicization of issues/concerns when they do start mobilizing and making their needs or concerns heard (while teabaggers are rewarded for their "activism&quot and making their lives overall more miserable. However, ultimately, we are going to have to figure out a way to help get them involved and keep them involved in the political system and get rid of the leaders whom want to keep them down (and push them down further) and replace them with leaders whom want to offer them a hand up.

If climate change is a huge hoax

how are the hoaxers supposedly benefiting? Have climate change deniers ever been able to explain it?

The way he talks sometimes

You would think that he is trying to (over)compensate for something..........

If 1994 is too far back to remember

Terri Schiavo wasn't as far back (2005). People near universally rejected what Jeb, his brother, and the near entirety of the Republican Congress and the right-wing hate machine did to her trying to take control of the family's personal tragedy and especially how they drug her husband's reputation through the mud. Moderate? Pfffft. Which isn't to say, of course, that he couldn't still get nominated and possibly even win in the GE (though Hillary, if she runs, would likely be the stronger candidate).
