Pretty much their whole MO is figuring out how to "stick it" to people they think are getting too "uppity" and don't know their place- and putting them back in their place (specifically, below them). Eight years of the Obama Administration was their biggest nightmare. Not because President Obama was the racist, socialist tyrant that they caricatured him but because President Obama had a diverse cabinet full of women and minorities and promoted policies that encouraged and celebrated racial, ethinic, and gender diversity and didn't place old white men at the head of everything. Under Obama, the country's first African-American POTUS, the Supreme Court said that states couldn't pick and choose whether they allowed same-sex marriage. Gays and Lesbians and Transgender persons were finally allowed to serve openly in the millitary. Basically, President Obama's worst "sin" is that he didn't put White fundamentalist xtian cishet people first and above everybody else. Trump's highest "virtue" is that he does.
They were fine for use in the most recent primaries
Hmmm.................Of course, Republicans always just ooze with "concern" for people with disabilities.
IKR?
So would Gore. So would Kerry. I am baffled at why so many voters in this country too often vote so stupidly and so totally against their own best interests- and too often for stupid, superficial reasons. I know that voters aren't always the problem and that Republicans cheat using a variety of tactics and Greens help spoil on some occasions, but the cheating and spoiling is at its most effective when the races are so close.
His actions do not reflect those of a genuinely innocent person
It is *possible* MAYBE that he wasn't directly in on everything but that people around him had their hands dirty but it seems highly improbable also that he was completely oblivious to everything going on around him. And he's obviously been frantically trying to shut down/stymie the Mueller investigation in almost every way he can, so it seems that he's aware that people around him were doing *something* they weren't supposed to, which he may or may not know the full extent of. If he wasn't directly involved in anything, he is almost certainly compromised by somebody or something and knee deep in the hoopla in *something*
Horrific and disturbing
This is good illustration of where all of the hatred and willful disinformation about vulnerable populations inevitably winds up- violence/threats of violence against said population. I hope that the people posting these things wind up being prosecuted, especially since their behavior literally shut a school down to ensure their target's safety
I am
I wrote a blog post elsewhere recently that I don't want to hear any more stories about 45's voters or supporters unless they're willing to own up to their MASSIVE error in judgement in 2016 and promise to vote better this year and in 2020. The MSM can't seem to stop themselves checking the pulse of Trump voters and whether they still support him or not. I can't recall a story about the shattered dreams, hopes, and fears of Hillary voters, immigrants, LGBTQ persons or anybody else threatened by Trump's policies. It's just crazy. MSM keeps trying to make Trump voters "special" somehow.
'A natural': Donald Trump Jr. emerges as a campaign star, despite Russia baggage
Source: Washington Post
President Trump was watching Fox News Channel with aides in his private dining room off the Oval Office recently when Donald Trump Jr. flashed across the giant flat screen.
Dons gotten really good, Trump said, according to someone who was present. My people love him.
The remark suggested a swell of unexpected pride from Trump about his namesake son, whose relationship with his father has been difficult at times but who has emerged as the presidents political alter ego and an in-
demand campaign celebrity ahead of Novembers midterm elections.

What in the ever-living..............? As far as I'm concerned, he'll be lucky if he doesn't wind up indicted- to say nothing of him become a political superstar. Really, WAPO????

It's a total farce
We have so many problems down here on Planet Earth (note: I'm not saying that space exploration isn't important or that I'm being a luddite) that need to be resolved, not the least of which is helping citizens recover from a natural disaster (Puerto Rico), reuniting immigrant children with their parents, and, of course, securing our elections, before we start talking about building a "Space Force".
Besides, nobody (and certainly not us) "own" outer space, so we really ought to focus on joint international efforts to colonize space, though I know that Dolt 45 doesn't believe in engaging in any kind of meaningful international relations unless you're an autocratic dictator.
So, we are now learning that Jade Helm might have been a Russian Bot exercise
*What else* from the last several years (since 2009) might the Russians have had a hand in? The Tea Party? I don't want to overstate Russian influence and/or blame it for *everything* that the Republican/right-wing has been engaged in since 2009 but it's starting to seem like Russia has been inserting its tentacles into our country, government, Republican Party for a lot longer than 2016.
