Firing Mueller would only make it worse. And I'm not at all convinced Republicans wouldn't do more than shrug and move on.
"Lalalalalalalalalalalalalalalalalalalala Iamnotlistening Hillary'semailserver!"
*Fox puts fingers in their ears with everything going on*
And Tucker Carlson is covering sex-crazed Pandas
With more support from the GOP
Yes, right now, the GOP is enabling in the Trump but I almost guarantee if they were asked to choose between Trump and Pence, they'd choose Pence and are basically holding their noses to "work" with Trump. Trump is evil but incompetent and, right now, that's what's holding the line between our Democracy and Putin-esque Authoritarian government. Pence, with the help of the GOP, including some current anti-Trump dissidents, could possibly help deliver the Christian Taliban "full meal deal".
I have come to a similar conclusion
It's possible Pence goes down with the Trumptanic too, but now is not really the time to "chance" anything when it comes to the GOP and their electoral shenanigans.
Well
who's to say that *somebody* didn't? Of course, it's not like Trump is surrounded by a "stable of stable geniuses" himself. If anybody would have said anything, it should have been somebody like Jeff Sessions, but then again he was stupid enough to get involved with backing Trump in the first place, so................And it's not like Trump wouldn't just "be Trump" and do what he wants. Firing Comey was a dumb move, especially for the reasons given. Outright attacking the FBI and accusing them of a "witch hunt" against him and encouraging his followers and sycophants to go to war with the FBI was even dumber.
I think that his reckless behavior demonstrates the concerns of most of us about guns
He's darn lucky the gun didn't go off and accidentally shoot a constituent (this time). His constituents may not be so lucky next time they meet with him and he decides to pull a similar stunt, however.
Exhibit A: The Dixie Chicks
Reichwingers loudly dismissed our complaints about their vociferous "Shut up and sing" boycott of the Dixie Chicks after they dared to publicly criticize their (then-) "God Emperor" George W. Bush and his misbegotten war in Iraq by claiming "Free Market" rights. Well, it works both ways.......
Exactly
and "low-information" voters will hear this c**p on the news and think that everything is fine with this country come 2020 and re-elect him simply because Trump has "policies" and that "experts" are "optimistic" about the economy continuing to be strong (because of them).
Assuming that the economy doesn't tank by then, of course........
Or "Reform"
We need to start calling what Republicans want to do to social programs (or really any government program) "DEform". It always get a burr up my butt whenever I hear the news media call what the Republicans are doing "Reform", as though they have the program's and people's best interests at heart.
Again, though
WHAT POLICIES?! It would be really nice if these so-called "experts" were pinned down at some point as to what exactly Trump's policies are and how they're helping? The only "policy" Trump has is sowing chaos.
