Anybody been on myspace lately? :O

Totally different than what I remember. And hey, steaming music, whoot!

Could you ever leave the internet?

Also, how would you do it if you left?

REPOSTED from the ARTist group. (Pictures!)

http://www.democraticunderground.com/1028579

This is the drawing I drew for my English class binder: (Ignore the thumb)

This took six hours straight for me to draw this: (Sorry that it's sideways, dunno what's up with that.)

That took six hours straight. Someone said to me once, "This doesn't have smudges like how I get when I draw, that's impressive." I said, "Yeah that's bullshit." And showed him this picture of what my hand looked like after drawing this picture:

The next picture was just obsessively compulsively drawing lines: (Sorry it's sideways again.)

Mexican Mad Hatter:

My first colored picture done in photoshop: (Coffee man!)

The next pictures are from the book I take "on the go." I colored the front of it with a silver sharpie:

All of these are from that book.

I feel like I'm getting better at drawing. I found out that you can get colored led for mechanical pencils, and I might decide to try coloring my artwork. I'm just not there yet.

This is the art I've been playing around in this year.

I could die, it's as easy as that.

I have endometriosis. It's where the lining of your uterus grows in other parts of your body and everytime you have a period, it bleeds and creates scar tissue. I was born without my right ovary, and my left Fallopian tube is wrapped around my left ovary. My right Fallopian tube looks "sickly." My uterus is perfectly okay, but we're not completely sure how wide spread the endometriosis is. We discovered it because I had a six centimeter cyst on my left ovary, which is why my Fallopian tube wrapped around the ovary. Even being hit by a mini van as a pedestrian did not top the pain of that the six centimeter cyst and the Fallopian tube wrapping around it. It was a 10 in my book... Maybe even an 11.

It was horrific to know why I felt that pain. The information after I had the surgery made me walk out of the room in shock.

I have to take birth control every single day to stop my period. The last week of those birth control packets? Those are actually vitamins, I have to skip that week to start another packet. I haven't had a period in years. When I used to have periods, I'd throw up and be completely incapable of moving because of the endometriosis. Once I couldn't even get any food down me all day.

The kicker here is that I take birth control to preserve my uterus and to stop the pain. I am married, and I'm okay with having a child if it comes to that. Because if I get pregnant, I won't have my period and I'll be safe until after the pregnancy. Then I have to go on birth control pills again.

How could I die? I'm more at risk for an ectopic pregnancy now. This is where the baby would grow in my Fallopian tube instead of my uterus. The baby cannot survive and neither would I, unless I get an abortion.

In a bleak future, I'd be sent to jail for murdering the child. When really, it wouldn't be so bad to have one.

I thought I'd share my story here. Every time birth control and abortions come up in politics, I get a bit scared.

25 Signs You’re Addicted To Books

1. When you were little, books were your best friends in the world.

2. When you're reading a good book, you forget to eat or sleep.

Oregon mental health care system could see significant expansion, money under legislative proposal

<snip> Steiner Hayward is coming forward as a public voice for mental health at a time when Oregon lawmakers are considering Senate Bill 823, which would significantly expand mental health care in Oregon. The bipartisan proposal plots a six-year effort to ramp up funding for community mental health programs, with an emphasis on early intervention and treatment of children and young adults.

Leading the effort is Senate President Peter Courtney, D-Salem, who in February called for a "game-changing" investment in mental health care. His call came as lawmakers across the country discussed ways to reduce gun violence in the wake of shootings at Clackamas Town Center and Sandy Hook Elementary in Newtown, Conn.
<snip>
"I wanted to be clear that it's a more complicated debate and a lot of people live with mental health issues but are highly functional if it's well-controlled," Steiner Hayward said in an interview. "I have an opportunity -- because I'm a legislator and because I'm a physician -- to make the story they're telling with (Senate Bill) 823 very real, to be one of the public faces of people who need this."

Bolding is mine, I want other people to remember that too.

There is no label of severely mentally ill in the mental health community.

That's why it doesn't fly in court. And it's a complete judgement by the people that say it. Am I "severely" mentally ill? You cannot say either way whether or not I am with any information I might give you. Am I mediocre, or in high need? Again, even I can't even say.

This is what it sounds like to me, just to give a little perspective...

'Too many people have cancer, we should stop treating them so much.' Or 'way too many people have heart surgery, we should find other options for clogged arteries.'

Without trying to see if a medicine does work or not. Without even trying to diagnose and find the proper treatment that will work. You do not walk in the same shoes as others when it comes to your depression. Each is a case by case basis. Why even mention the vitamin D thing as a "it could work for you!" type message? It does look like a message for all depressed people just in case, as if we don't get enough of false hope. This is the part I see most, "but generally the cure is sunlight and vitamin D" along with the word depression. I'm surely not the only person who misread it.

But I just have to say. You'd think you'd know already. You know there is out-patient groups that take the entire holistic approach? Right?

Surprise! They already do holistic approaches. Gah. I didn't go to out-patient and was forced outside to "be mindful" for nothing. They also had a cardio group in psychward, as well as doing art, boardgames and so on. NAMI groups generally helps you figure how things are amiss. They don't believe that only pills work. Can I make that clearer? People usually go to therapists before ever going to a doctor for their struggles. What do therapists do? I'll just let you guess on that one.
