Face It Sanders Fans, You’d Turn On Bernie In a Heartbeat If He Actually Won the White House
Chez Pazienza on September 09, 2015

"It’s tough not to admire Bernie Sanders. He’s a ferocious advocate for his constituents and the middle and working class as well as a guy willing to openly identify as a socialist in a country that’s always considered that a dirty word. Sanders is a genuinely decent guy and his voice in the Senate has been an invaluable one. He doesn’t mince words or pander and he doesn’t worry about much other than representing voters to the best of his abilities and sticking to his political guns as best he can. Even if you disagree with his worldview he deserves a good amount of respect for walking the walk in terms of being a man of the people.

With all of this in mind it’s easy to see why Sanders has a legion of supporters for his 2016 presidential campaign — and why those supporters are largely the kind of people you’ve already unfriended on Facebook because they won’t shut the fuck up about how Bernie is the Great Liberal Messiah come to save us all."

"Dynasty" Am I wrong here?

Because it just bugs me. Thanks

"Dynasty"
"It's her turn", "the anointed one", "the coronation". I have to wonder why Bernie's supporters have to invent false memes to prop up their support for him. Isn't it enough to be honest in criticism as well as support? By the way, the definition of "dynasty" is actually available to anyone in any respected dictionary. Personally, I would like to see a link to the dictionary that defines the word as one husband, duly elected, and one wife, duly elected. If Hillary is the next president, it won't be because she inherited the position, and it most certainly will not be because her husband appointed her. This kind of dishonest bullshit won't get Bernie any closer to the nomination either. (Don't Take the last sentence wrong. Hillary has got this!:thumbsup

What I think about HRC

I think she is doing extremely well........when one takes into consideration she is up against two fronts of opposition who have two different endgame goals silently joining forces to achieve the short term goal to their mutual benefit.

Fantasy memes and real targets

First the memes. We've all heard them. "Anointed One", "because it's her turn", "inevitable", and the list goes on. On that issue, it emphasizes the blatant dishonesty by trying, and not successfully, to convince people they were invented by Hillary's supporters to instill hopelessness in those who support another candidate, but I'm sure at this point everyone knows where the memes originated. That's what you call desperation.
Now for the targets. Whether pro-Hillary or anti Hillary, it doesn't take long for those threads to devolve into a headlong race to see who can outdo the other in what I'm sure they perceive as being clever in the smears against Hillary. (With the exception of this group)I believe she is the secondary target, and the nastiness is directed at her supporters in an obvious attempt to circumvent a direct attack. They are not going after Clinton, they are going after you. The main reason? Certainly not out of support for their chosen candidate, but out of a desire to somehow hold themselves above others morally, and, here we go again, to make others feel a hopelessness for their cause. Bottom line for me? Their entire shtick is based upon, you guessed it. Hopelessness. That's what I have to say, and I feel better having said it. As always, this post, and it's fate is left up to the hosts of this group. Disclaimer: These statements are not directed toward any person who does not fit the above description.

I have often stated....

I have often stated that many of the Sanders supporter's, to put it mildly, dislike of HRC seems to outweigh the importance of their efforts to promote him. If you haven't noticed, which I suspect all of you have, seems every pro Sanders thread is immediately, if not eventually, dominated by smearing HRC. I don't see that in pro Hillary threads. What I do see, as if their own threads are not enough, are all out attempts to hijack those threads, not with valid criticism, nor with any positive defense of their chosen candidate, but with, you guessed it, more fox/repuggish style smearing. I do believe the worst thing a Clinton supporter has said about Bernie is probably nicer than the best thing many of his supporters have said about Hillary. I am a Hillary supporter, and I am not anti-Bernie Sanders. I am a Democrat.
If anyone in this group thinks that I have gone too far with my opinion, I will delete, and relegate myself back to observer status confident that this group will stay above the fray, and continue to fight the good fight without my shoot from the hip input. (as if y'all ever needed it )
Let me state that this does not apply to all of Bernie's supporters. Being from the south, I don't want to be accused of something I find rather shallow, and offensive. That would be the "broad blanket" toss. Thanks to all
