Gisele Bundchen, Wife of Tom Brady, Rips Trump Elephant Trophy Policy

<snip>It seems clear Tom Brady’s better half is not a big fan of President Trump. An ardent environmentalist, Gisele Bundchen doesn’t care for the commander in chief’s take on global warming — he’s called it a “hoax” — and now the Brazilian supermodel is upset about the Trump administration’s decision to allow hunters to bring trophies of elephants killed in Zimbabwe and Zambia back to the United States.<snip>

<snip>Bundchen is one of many celebs expressing shock and disappointment that Trump will reverse a ban put in place by President Obama in 2014. Friday, on Instagram, Bundchen posted a picture of herself playing with elephants. The caption: “Nothing justifies killing harmless animals to use its parts only as material goods, decoration or even worse as a trophy to satisfy someone’s ego or pride. If we want a better future, we must take care of the wildlife. When you hurt one species you are hurting them all, including us humans. We are all connected.”<snip>

And my favorite part of the article:

<snip>We’re not expecting Brady to comment. Soon after Trump was elected last November, the Patriots QB, who’s been a Trump friend and occasional golf partner, said he planned to stop talking about politics. “I talked to my wife, she says I can’t talk about politics anymore,” the QB said in a radio interview. “I think that’s a good decision.”<snip>

Is a Blue Wave Coming in 2018?---The Cook Political Report

<snip>The last two weeks have seen some significant movement in Democrats favor. First, there were the impressive results from last Tuesday's elections. This week, we’ve seen two polls — one by Quinnipiac and one by Marist — that show Democrats with a congressional ballot advantage of +13 to +15. Three other recent polls — ABC/Washington Post, Fox, and NBC/Wall Street Journal — show Democrats with an advantage of anywhere from +7 to +15. These are political wave numbers. <snip>

Wall Steet Celebrates Trump and Republicans with Huge DJIA Increases

The Dow is up over 215 points as of this writing, which continues the increase of over 3,500 since Trump's election.

You see, with the Moron in Chief in charge of the executive branch, he has removed as many regulations as possible in the financial industry. This allows the same assholes who stole our money under the Republicans from 2001 until 2007 to once again start stealing our money all over again, now that we have bailed them out.

And today, the Republican's in Congress took the first step in not only praising President Asshole for reinstituting the legal right to rob us, but assure all the financial institutions and corporations who will steal us blind, that they won't have to pay taxes on their theft of our money. In addition, the middle class, especially in states that already contribute the most to the U.S. Treasury, will have their taxes increased to pay for that theft.

Elections do have consequences and once again, I remind my many DU friends that in the General, FINAL Election for President, there is only a binary choice. When we ignore that realism, we get fucked.

Moore Trails Democrat Jones by 12 Points

Source: Politico

Republican Roy Moore is trailing Democrat Doug Jones by 12 points in the Alabama special Senate election, according to a poll conducted by the National Republican Senatorial Committee after five women accused Moore of pursuing them as teenagers.

Jones led Moore 51 to 39 percent, according to the survey taken Sunday and Monday. The NRSC withdrew its support for Moore after the Washington Post published the first allegations against Moore on Thursday, and the group’s chairman, Sen. Cory Gardner (R-Colo.) said Moore should be expelled from the Senate if he wins on Dec. 12

Trump to Address Nation (about what?)

I am going to reiterate my prediction of how the Trump presidency ends.

Donald Trump will call an address to the nation (I can't predict exactly when). All channels. He will say something like this:

"Fellow Americans, I come to you tonight to speak directly to you. It has been an honor to serve as your President. Together, we had such great hope in changing our country and making America great again. I have made a great sacrifice, as has my family, in being the 'tip of the spear' in draining the swamp and taking down the deep state that has for too long put their own interests ahead of you, the forgotten Americans."

"I can no longer put my family and close friends and supporters in harms' way. I can no longer ask the people I love, who have been loyal to me, to take on such great risk to themselves and their families. We have fought the good fight. We have won, where no one thought we could. We have attempted to make great strides, but the opposition to us, all of us, is too formidable. Both the Democrat party and most of the Republican party stand against us and against the much needed change that this nation cries out for."

"It is for these reasons that I announce the pardons of 34 people for any supposed, alleged, current or pending wrongdoings, of any nature. I will supply the list in a written statement before midnight tomorrow. In addition, I announce my resignation, as of midnight tomorrow, as the 45th president of the United States, and I wish our new President, Mike Pence, all the good luck in the future. God Bless you all and God Bless America."

Maybe sooner than you think.

I have a feeling that something big will come out this week

There are 17 sealed indictments pending at the same courthouse as the Manafort indictments. It was posted here last week. The 17 indictments run between Manafort and Papadopoulos.

I think that Mueller is waiting for the President to return from his Asian trip, before he drops the hammer.

I suspect that there will be more Roy Moore revelations before the end of the week. Remember, these accusations were while Roy was an ADA and 32 years old. You think that maybe, regardless of age, he may have abused his power to put other young women in similar situations?

The Stock Market went down the last two sessions. Almost every economist believes that the market is overbought and is going to face, at the very least, a correction. I feel one coming.

I don't know. I just feel that this coming week has something big in store, but I just can't put my finger on it.

Other Than Gender, What's the Difference Between Roy Moore and Pedophile Priests?

Some Catholic Priests faced their teen age victims decades after the incident took place. The space in time did not reduce the credibility of the victims.

The key factors are that the victims did tell someone else, in real time and made credible accusations of the accounts by using time, places and events.

The Catholic church paid millions of dollars to victims, even after the statute of limitations expired, in many cases.

The least we can do is not let this pedophile, Roy Moore, be elevated to the United States Senate.

Did Trump Just Admit He's A "Lunatic"?

Kim Jong Un called Donald Trump and "Old Lunatic".

Trump took offense only with the "Old" part of the statement, and tweeted back ""Kim Jong Un just called me old".

That's like if my cousin called me a "Cheep Fucking Asshole" and I said "I'm offended by that, I'm really not that cheap". I'd be admitting that I'm a "fucking asshole".

Are the Democrats Better Off if Roy Moore Wins or Loses

I'm a pragmatist. so I want a win to reduce the Senate to a 51 to 49 caucus split. I think that an Alabama win, under any circumstances, increases the Democratic momentum going into election season, 2018.

On the other hand, a political argument can be made that Roy Moore becomes such a negative distraction to the GOP and creates another issue, in and of itself, that it can't help but juice up the Democratic base in every 2018 election. Moore can become an issue everywhere in this country.

Now, please don't get me wrong. I know the morality of what Roy Moore did makes the case that it's better if our guy, Doug Jones wins. But, the alternative is not a political disaster, by any means. Remember, the Republican establishment didn't want Moore in the Senate in the first place because of his outlandish positions and actions, even before his pedophilia scandal. Can you imagine they're panic now? Even they know his vote is not worth the trouble it brings.

When the other side supports Treason and Pedopilia

and I still have to mount an argument to convince them that they're wrong, I feel like I'm on another planet.

Shouldn't this part of the discussion be stipulated?
