Damn......how good of a poll is AARP??? it shows both Democrats losing with the 50+ group.

A poll released Thursday found voters 50 and older are driving support for the Republican candidates in Wisconsin's high-profile races for governor and U.S. Senate.

The poll, commissioned by AARP Wisconsin, surveyed voters of all ages, although a disproportionately large share of the respondents were 50 and older.

In the governor's race, Republican challenger Tim Michels led Democratic Gov. Tony Evers 50 percent to 47 percent. In the U.S. Senate race, GOP Sen. Ron Johnson led Democratic challenger Lt. Gov. Mandela Barnes 51 percent to 46 percent.

The group, which advocates for older Americans, found support for the GOP candidates was stronger among those 50 and older.

Turtle man IS going to support legislation that would make it harder to overturn a certified

Presidential election.

Senate Minority Leader Mitch McConnell announced Tuesday he would support legislation that would make it harder to overturn a certified presidential election, an endorsement that will bolster its chances for passage in his chamber and puts him at sharp odds with former President Donald Trump, who has called on GOP senators to sink the plan.

McConnell said the “chaos” of the pro-Trump attack on the Capitol last year “certainly underscored the need for an update.”

“I strongly support the modest changes that our colleagues in the working group have fleshed out after literally months of detailed discussions,” McConnell said. “I’ll proudly support the legislation, provided that nothing more than technical changes are made to its current form.”

in 2020 Wisconsin was the 38th easiest state to vote in......now, 2022 it's now the 4th HARDEST

to vote in. 🤬 🤬 🤬

A CROSSE (WKBT) — In 2020, out of 50 states, Wisconsin was the 38th easiest state to cast your ballot. In the 2022 edition of Cost of Voting in America, Wisconsin fell to 47th. It is now the 4th hardest state to vote in.

When it comes time to vote in November, some Wisconsinites may find it hard to cast their ballot.

Ok, just put on both flannel sheets on our bed. Top AND bottom.

Usually only start with one in September and both for sure in October, but sheesh, it’s been quite chilly so I put both on. Still using my Spring/Summer bed spread tho, won’t put on the Fall/Winter quilt until later. Anyone else??
