"One was smooth, the other won" (Apologies if this has been posted)
Wonderful commentary, particularly when they got into Vance's "non-answers"https://www.msnbc.com/msnbc/watch/one-was-smooth-the-other-won-rachel-maddow-and-msnbc-panel-react-to-the-vice-presidential-debate-220634181616

Joy Reid speaking on MSNBC moments ago:
A smooth lie is still a lie. Vance is incredibly smooth but during those 90 minutes, he managed not to say anything memorable. Theres nothing clippable in what he said. They were just all smooth, bland lies.
Vance got outdone by Walz. He was relatable and delivered on the substance. He didnt go in there to slay Vance, he went in there to show himself and he showed himself to be bipartisan. He showed himself to be reasonable. He showed himself to be practical.
A lot of people are complaining that he didnt knock Vance out and that he wasnt rhetorically cruel but that was not his job. It was obvious that his job was to sell Harris as president and he did that very well. He won the debate.

"Fiscal Impact: Increased local borrowing to fund affordable housing, supportive housing, and public infrastructure. The amount would depend on decisions by local governments and voters. Borrowing would be repaid with higher property taxes. (emphases mine).
Taxes are already way too high-- this could mean some people will no longer afford to stay in their homes.
I find this very disturbing.

Just received my Sample Ballot and have deep concerns about Prop 5

Former Republican Rep. Adam Kinzinger accused Donald Trump of having "suffocated the soul of the Republican Party"
I'm sure that most of you are aware of Adam Kinzinger-- I somehow missed him at the DNC. But I came upon this and wanted to share-- even if you've already seen it, it still packs a wallop.

How on earth do I change the text label size beneath my desktop icons? (Windows 10)
I keep searching but it never seems to give me an answer. Basically, I would like to have the text be black so that I can read it more easily.
It's not urgent, but it is aggravating.
Thanks in advance.

Question about how to disable the full-screen setting on Windows 10
Every time I move a smaller window, it automatically goes into full-screen mode. Googled self-help but none of them could provide a satisfactory answer.
Thank you!
