Another theater shooting

It's Tampa Florida this time:

Ex-Fla. cop accused in fatal shooting over texting

Authorities in Florida say a retired police captain killed a man in a movie theater who wouldn't stop texting with his 3-year-old daughter.

WESLEY CHAPEL, Fla. — An argument over texting in a Florida movie theater Monday triggered a retired Tampa police captain to fatally shoot a man sitting in front of him, as about 25 horrified moviegoers looked on, sheriff's officials said.

"Somebody throws popcorn. I'm not sure who threw the popcorn," said Charles Cummings, who, as a birthday treat, was about to watch the movie "Lone Survivor" at The Grove 16 Theater.

"And then bang, he was shot."

Curtis Reeves, 71, has been charged with second-degree murder and it's not immediately clear whether he has retained an attorney.

Pasco County Sheriff's officials said the shooting happened when Reeves asked 43-year-old Chad Oulson to stop texting at the theater in Wesley Chapel, a suburb about a half hour north of downtown Tampa.

College Football history made with 2013 season

Why? Because even that array of excellence was an outlier. At no time previously had college football come so close to championship perfection; indeed, only in 1982, when the the champions of Divisions I-AA, II, and III (Eastern Kentucky, Southwest Texas State, and West Georgia) had all gone unbeaten had there even been the credible threat.

Welcome to 2013, and history. Florida State finished 14-0 to claim the BCS Trophy. North Dakota State captured their third straight Division I Football Championship, running the table to finish 15-0. Northwest Missouri State also rolled to a 15-0 record to claim the Division II title, while 15-0 Wisconsin-Whitewater vanquished their eternal nemesis to win their fifth Stagg Bowl in seven years. And in the NAIA, Grand View secured their first-ever national championship to cap off a perfect 14-0 season.

Five teams. Seventy-three wins. Not a loss between them. It had never happened before in the history of the greatest game on turf, but we can now hold 2013 up as the year the worth of every single national champion was utterly indisputable.

Left Lane Squatters - Read the DAMN Sign...

I am so sick of the left lane squatters causing traffic to back up forcing others to pass on the right many times between other vehicles. It doesn't,matter if there are two or ten lanes these drivers move to the far left.

What is the attraction to the left lane that so many just sit there as they drive across town or across country? I drove more than 2000 miles this week and the single biggest hassle was these morons who refuse to get over as they pass the "SLOWER TRAFFIC KEEP RIGHT" signs which are posted on both the left and right side of the road.
