The charge against former President Trump for inciting violence was contrary to the evidence. It was never the goal of the House to find out what happened on January 6, 2021 and then assign blame. They were assigning complete and total blame to President Trump regardless. This was an impeachment effort driven by passion and hatred against President Trump.

In their drive to convict former President Trump, the House Managers totally ignored bedrock legal standards. The House of Representatives held no hearings, had no witnesses, heard no testimony, and made the outrageous claim that the First Amendment does not apply to political speech.

As your United States Senator, my primary job is to understand and represent the interests of all South Carolinians. The opportunity to hear from you about the issues confronting our nation is not only essential to representative democracy, but allows me to better serve the people of South Carolina. "Mattress Mack" opens Houston furniture stores to hundreds without power after storm

After a deadly storm swept through Texas, Jim McIngvale's Houston furniture store was packed — but not with shoppers. McIngvale, who goes by Mattress Mack, is known for opening the doors of his furniture stores to those in need. So when a snowstorm left Texans without power or heat in the frigid cold, Mattress Mack invited hundreds in.


"Least we could do is open this furniture store to let people come into a warmer place," Mattress Mack told CBS Houston affiliate KHOU-TV. "Sofas and plenty available TVs, plenty of available mattresses, plenty of available and lots of hot food."

So far, he's opened his Richmond and Houston, Texas, Gallery Furniture stores as shelters.

How much money are healthcare corporations making in overpayments, they never refund?

I had surgery in July 2020, on the day of surgery, we had met our out-of-pockets responsibility and should not have been charged, but the hospital demanded $2,000 before they would do the surgery.
We have been trying to get a refund since that time. Each call is an endless list of excuses and a game of we can't talk to you about this.

I just wonder how many patients they do this to.
