A Candidate’s Death Could Delay or Eliminate the Presidential Election

The presidential election could be delayed or scrapped altogether if conspiracy theories become predictive and a candidate dies or drops out before Nov. 8. The perhaps equally startling alternative, if there’s enough time: Small groups of people hand-picking a replacement pursuant to obscure party rules.

The scenarios have been seriously considered by few outside of the legal community and likely are too morbid for polite discussion in politically mixed company. But prominent law professors have pondered the effects and possible ways to address a late-date vacancy.

“There’s nothing in the Constitution which requires a popular election for the electors serving in the Electoral College,” says John Nagle, a law professor at the University of Notre Dame, meaning the body that officially elects presidents could convene without the general public voting.

“It’s up to each state legislature to decide how they want to choose the state’s electors,” Nagle says. “It may be a situation in which the fact that we have an Electoral College, rather than direct voting for presidential candidates, may prove to be helpful.”

So the real question here: Why is this article showing up now? This election? What do they know that we don't?

Just found it a strange article given the rhetoric that has been tossed around by one side in this campaign season

50 Least Powerful People in the World

A lucky few possess great fame, wealth, and influence. Even fewer manage to hold on to these positions of power without mishap. Such great heights are often quite perilous, and for every large-scale success, there is often an equally epic fall.

24/7 Wall St. compiled a list of 50 well-known individuals around the world who have recently experienced a precipitous loss in stature. These individuals, be they influential political figures, powerful executives, or successful athletes, have each fallen a great distance from their peak — some by their own doing and some as a result of circumstance.

A lucky few possess great fame, wealth, and influence. Even fewer manage to hold on to these positions of power without mishap. Such great heights are often quite perilous, and for every large-scale success, there is often an equally epic fall.

New Rule: Don't make any loud noises in airports

Due to the gun culture in the United States, everyone will be required to maintain silence while moving about the airport. And for god sake, don't drop anything on the terrazzo floor for fear that it will be mistaken as a gun shot and will trigger mayhem and hysteria among the paranoid travelers.

You would think with the numbers of gun owners in the country, we would be able to distinguish a gun shot from a chair falling over or someone dropping their bag.

Karma Strikes Back: Breitbart Poll Has Trump LOSING To Clinton

If the Trump campaign was looking for a light at the end of the tunnel when it comes to polling data, they are now discovering that light is indeed a freight train headed right at them.

A new poll from Breitbart/Gravis Marketing shows that Trump is also losing to Hillary Clinton, by one point. A week ago, the same poll had Clinton winning by five points, so the Breitbart team is trying to spin this as proof that the gap between the two candidates is narrowing. But given that the survey’s margin of error is 2.5 percent, Clinton could actually have a 3.5 percent lead, negating that argument.

The real irony lies in the fact that Breitbart, which is where current Trump campaign CEO was formerly employed, is indicating exactly what all the other polls are: That Clinton is ahead across the country, and has leads in all of the major battleground states, ranging from Florida to Ohio. She is also tied or ahead in traditionally Republican states such as Arizona, Georgia, and Utah.

Democratic pollster Peter Hart said yesterday on “MTP Daily” that he expects the popular vote to be close–2 to 3 points–but that it seems likely Clinton will win a decisive electoral victory come November.

I registered 5 people to vote tonight!

We went to high school football game and stood outside as people were coming in. The good news is 90% said they were registered.

The best one was a young woman who just turned 18. She was with a friend who said there was no way she was going to register and grabbed her friends hand and pulled he away. A couple of minutes later the one girl came running back and asked if she could register. She didn't let peer pressure stop her.

There were 4 of us and we netted 10 new voters. It was encouraging that so many said they were already registered. This is a very diverse community both ethnicity and economically.

It always makes me feel good when I can get someone registered. I have done this before and it felt good to get one in an outing but 5 was outstanding for me.

Get involved people, you will enjoy it.

To My Redneck American Community: What The Hell Do You Have to Lose

And now, to my Redneck American Community, where are my Rednecks? There they are, there’s my Redneck American, okay… For generations, you have been giving your vote to the Republicans, and what has it gotten you? Nothing! Your lives are a catastrophe, believe me. You have no health care, your children are all dying of meth and heroin, you have no education, you are shooting yourselves with your own guns on accident every day. So sad. Just a disaster.

You have been losing, losing, losing. The big banks are buying all your farms, you have nothing to eat but junk food, you all have diabetes, and your water is totally poisoned from all the fracking going on. Absolutely horrendous. A complete waste. And what do you get for it? Nothing! Even the gays are better off than you. They’re taking all your marriages. Your homes are totally broken, I can tell you.

The Republicans have totally taken you for granted. They think you’re stupid! They are taking advantage of you and it’s got to end, believe me. The Democrats will straighten this out so fast it will make your head spin. We will give you Medicaid, if you will just vote in a Democrat governor, believe me. It will happen. I guarantee it. What the hell do you have to lose?

CNN Panel BURSTS Into Laughter After Katrina Pierson Makes Dumbest Comment Of All Time (VIDEO)

We know Donald Trump makes it awfully hard for staffers like Katrina Pierson to portray him in a good light. Still, the Trump-Pence campaign spokeswoman’s Thursday appearance on CNN deserves some kind of prize.

Katrina Pierson’s defense of Donald Trump’s bigotry and massive flip flop on immigration was so ridiculous, her co-panelists actually laughed at her.

It all started when CNN host Erica Hill called Mein Trumpf out for calling Hillary Clinton a bigot. She pointed out that if Katrina Pierson’s boss really wants to do things differently, maybe he should stop being a bigot and get the GOP to change its policies.

‘Would it not be more effective to go after the policies she said are oppressive? To go after the things that the Trump campaign would like to point out in their eyes are not working on Hillary Clinton’s side, as opposed to name calling?’

But Katrina Pierson assures us that the GOP candidate really is talking about policies.

‘Well, I think Donald Trump does both. And he makes his point when he says things like this. The people know what he’s saying, and he does talk about failed policies. In the last few speeches he’s given, he’s outlined those failed policies that have hurt communities.’

Alas, those speeches Katrina Pierson refers to only prove that Donald Trump’s the one who’s a bigot. But she insists Hillary Clinton’s the one who’s racist.

‘Particularly, Hillary Clinton goes out there and panders, she goes on a radio show and talks about having hot sauce in her purse. That’s pandering.’

Katrina Pierson adds that her boss is not your ‘typical Republican.’ She explains,

‘And Mr. Trump sees this as an opportunity to show Americans he’s not your typical Republican. A Republican that has not gone into the communities, because, I want to remind everyone, Mr. Trump, this March, went to Chicago. He went to take his message to the community and what we saw was destruction. That’s part of the reason he’s now just speaking to the public at all of his rallies.’

I clicked on an ad that asked "Do you Trust Hillary?"

It took me to a page for Joe Heck for US Senate.

I answered Yes.
Then it wanted my name, email and zip code.

I used Joe Plumber and just made up an email.

1. It cost them when I click on the ad
2. It is a stop Hillary site.
3. I voted Yes.

Hit this poll as I did: https://drjoeheck.com/petition-stop-hillary-dbm/?utm_source=google&utm_medium=dbm&utm_content=topic_rw_160x600&utm_campaign=lg_trust_hillary

Trump: 'I'm not flip-flopping' on immigration

Republican presidential nominee Donald Trump on Monday insisted that he wasn't "flip-flopping" on deporting the estimated 11 million undocumented people living in the U.S.

"When dealing with people, we have to be very firm. We have to be very, very strong when people come in illegally," Trump said during a phone interview on "Fox and Friends."

"We have a lot of people that want to come in through the legal process," Trump continued. "We're working with a lot of people in the Hispanic community to try and come up with an answer."

"So you're not flip-flopping?" Trump was asked.

"No, I'm not flip-flopping," he responded.

"We want to come up with a really fair but firm answer. It has to be very firm," he said. "But we want to come up with something fair."

Trump's new campaign manager, Kellyanne Conway, on Sunday declined to say whether the GOP nominee still backs a deportation force to remove the millions of undocumented immigrants in the U.S.
