Fox News Christmas Tree Catches Fire in Manhattan
A 50-foot-tall Christmas tree caught fire outside the Fox News headquarters in New York City early on Wednesday, prompting a race to extinguish it and leading to one arrest.
The tree had been ceremonially lit in the network’s “All-American” Christmas special on Sunday. One of the network’s hosts announced the fire in a live broadcast.

Standing in line at the pharmacy this morning.
I was there to get my booster shot, he was just being an asshole.
I am standing at the front of the line that I had just spent 20 minutes in when this idiot asks if this is the line for the pharmacy.
Yes sir, it forms back there.
He informs me that he is not waiting in any damn line.
I looked at him and said, sir, the Peparation H is in the next isle over.

This is disgusting "South Carolina governor accuses health experts of 'hyperbole'"
South Carolina Gov. Henry McMaster (R) on Sunday accused health experts of "hyperbole" and "exaggeration" in regards to the current COVID-19 surge brought on by the more infectious delta variant.
During an appearance on Fox News Sunday, McMaster affirmed to guest host Dana Perino that he would not be enacting a statewide mask mandate and when it came to vaccinations the governor said he would let residents "make their decision" based on information provided to them.
Perino noted that South Carolina has recently seen increases in the number of COVID-19 cases, hospitalizations and deaths, with cases rising by over 250 percent and hospitalizations rising by more than 120 percent.

I was so pleasantly surprised today when at first, I was approaching an old truck with two large flags on poles on the back and a sign which I couldn’t read.
I was in an Atlanta Georgia neighborhood.
As I came up behind the truck, I groaned expecting idiocy, then I read the signs, wow, my mood flipped!

The caller asked me what I thought about hospitals firing people if they refused to get vaccinated.
Let him have an ear full on that. Wanted to know why I didn't support a law to protect those who don't get vaccinated.
Then he moved on to critical race where he asked why I support teaching it. I told him we should be teaching our kids everything then teach them how to think not what to think.
He wanted to know if I would support a law to ban transgender people from using their "chosen" restrooms. I said where are they suppose to go.
He asked me if I was a conservative or progressive. I said does your chart have bleeding heart liberal.
He was quick to get rid of me at that point.

Sen. Lindsey Graham (R-S.C.) said on Monday that he accepts the results of the 2020 election, and urged Republicans, including former President Donald Trump, to focus on the upcoming midterm where the party wants to win back control of Congress.
"I accept the results of the election. ... 2020 is over to me, I'm ready to march on and hopefully take back the House and the Senate in 2022," Graham told reporters in South Carolina.

Help me out here: mask effectiveness against Covid
Before you alert because I am peddling right wing talking points, please read!
I need help countering a right wing talking point.
I had three people I work with, all who never wear a mask try and tell me a new report claims masks are not affective. Yes, they are all trump followers.
My response was what right wing site is touting this. No response. I only found one on a quick google search and it definitely right wing.
So, how many here have had right wingers shouting this?
I am only going to stop wearing a mask when Dr Fauci says I can.
They admitted that flue season was far less severe than normal, but still they believe what they want regardless of facts.
