50% of my neighbors..

...are retired military and I'm very temped to send this to one of the very friendly ones.

He knows I'm one of those very liberal dems already yet I don't push the issue as much as I'd like. 2 yrs ago he blew me off when I told him tRump was elected with Russian help.

Seeing THE PENTAGON saying this would rattle this repub's tree. Hubby tells me rubbing it in is not a good idea---I just don't want him voting for Shittler again.

How is it that the MAGA hats

Aren't objecting in the least?
Oh, that's right--they're puppets, only jumping when told to.

Squirrels, at least some, are amazingly smart.

Except when crossing in front of cars but we can't judge all of them by those unfortunate accidents.

When I've time, I'll tell my pet wild squirrel story - he was the proverbial "something else."

Zactly.

It's a "let's slam Joe" post.

Again: Back in the early 70s, the men controlling these House committees were segregationists and the then 27yo Biden knew he had to compromise with these a.holes in order to get anywhere.

Stop these circular firing squads. They're benefiting Trump. What we need to decide is who is the best candidate to beat IQ45. Period.

Bingo: "ONE goal... ousting Trump..."

"ONE goal, which is ousting Trump from his wannabe dictatorship."

Exactly. And has Harris knocked out our best chance (not saying best candidate)? She advanced herself at what cost?

Posted and wrote to a friend earlier:

Life is full of regretful compromises.

Edited to include a great MM post I just found:

This is about getting rid of the root cause!

Trump and his administration. This is about the election to remove that sadist.

K & R

Think how badly Anita Hill was judged for putting up with Clarence Thomas' lewd advances.

And in order to "stay in the game" think how many times you'd had to compromise with people you've thoroughly despised.

And there's her TRump bashing "Chicken Hawk" quote

"Rep. Tulsi Gabbard, a veteran of the Iraq war and an active member of the Hawaii National Guard, accused Trump's "chicken hawk Cabinet" of leading the U.S. "to the brink of war with Iran" at the first Democratic primary debate on Wednesday."

She did correct Ryan on Iraq, an important pt.

She was right here:

"Tim Ryan incorrectly said the Taliban carried out the 9/11 attack. Gabbard quickly responded."
She corrected him: Al-qaida carried out the attack, not the Taliban. And Ryan maintained that we need a presence in Iraq and Afghanistan, Tulsi disagreed.
So, BRAVO to her for that stance!!

She tweeted:
"We are in Afghanistan & Iraq where we have lost so many lives and spent so much $ that should be going into our communities here at home. This is why itís so important to have a commander in chief who knows the cost of war."

No, I am NOT supporting her candidacy but rather just stating that she has made some good points - much more so than Ryan.

Coincidence that you would say that. My son just boarded....

a flight for Scotland! He and a friend plan to hike Scotland's western coast for the next two weeks.
