I’m increasingly convinced that Manafort is the thread that needs to be vigorously and relentlessly pulled. The man is dirty as fuck and really seems to be the nexus of so much shady shit. There’s just so much smoke here. There’s a reason that they are trying so hard to diminish the fact that he ran the fucking campaign. A “very limited role,” my ass.

My money is on Manafort being the string that unravels the whole damn thing.

Keep pulling

Manfort AND Gates

Unlike Manafort, who was forced out last year, Gates continued to work on the Trump campaign and even the inaugural committee

Paul Manafort, President Donald Trump’s former campaign manager, was told to surrender by authorities Monday morning, according to the New York Times.

The charges against Manafort, who has been told to surrender along with Rick Gates, a former business associate, “were not immediately clear but represent a significant escalation in a special counsel investigation that has cast a shadow over the president’s first year in office,” the Times reports.

The Times notes:

Mr. Manafort had been under investigation for violations of federal tax law, money laundering

Here we go:

Paul Manafort and his former business associate Rick Gates were told to surrender to federal authorities Monday morning, the first charges in a special counsel investigation, according to a person involved in the case.

The charges against Mr. Manafort, President Trump’s former campaign chairman, and Mr. Gates, a business associate of Mr. Manafort, were not immediately clear but represent a significant escalation in a special counsel investigation that has cast a shadow over the president’s first year in office.
This is a developing story.

President Trump’s former campaign chairman Paul Manafort, and his longtime protégé, Rick Gates, were told to surrender to federal authorities on Monday morning, according to The New York Times. The still-unknown charges expected to be laid against Manafort and Gates mark an important escalation in the investigation by Special Counselor Robert Mueller into Russian interference in the U.S. election. Manafort has for months been under investigation for federal tax law violations, in addition to money laundering and inappropriate disclosure of his foreign lobbying.

President Trump’s former campaign chairman Paul Manafort and his former business associate Rick Gates have been instructed to surrender to federal authorities on Monday morning as part of an investigation into Russian collusion in the 2016 presidential election.

Manafort has found himself in the crosshairs of a special counsel probe headed up by former FBI head Robert Mueller. The New York Times reported that Manafort and Gates have been told to turn themselves in, but did not provide information about what charges the pair face. The paper cited a “person familiar with the case.”

Manafort, a lawyer and lobbyist, joined Trump’s campaign team in March 2016, and was elevated to the role of campaign manager from June to August 2016. He resigned amidst a scandal about his work for pro-Russian Ukrainian oligarchs.

Imagine pulling up next to a car on the Strip and it's Reid & Boehner!

BOEHNER ON ... THE HOUSE FREEDOM CAUCUS

“They can’t tell you what they’re for. They can tell you everything they’re against. They’re anarchists. They want total chaos. Tear it all down and start over. That’s where their mindset is.”

BOEHNER ON ... A 2011 MEETING WITH PRESIDENT BARACK OBAMA

“I’m smoking a cigarette, and they bring me a glass of merlot. And we’re sitting there a little while, and here’s the president drinking iced tea and chomping on Nicorette. What else do you need to know about the two of us?”

John Boehner recounts the day he called @SeanHannity and said “Listen, you’re nuts”

A Message From Robert Mueller:

John Cassidy: “After CNN published its story on Friday night, some Democrats and commentators suggested that the Trump Administration may have known the Mueller indictments were coming and leaked the Steele story to create a smokescreen… Plausible as that theory sounds, it, too, is conjecture.”

“What isn’t speculation is the fact that, five months into his investigation, Mueller has brought a first set of criminal charges. By the standards of recent special prosecutors, that is fast work, and it confirms Mueller’s reputation as someone who doesn’t like to dally. Now that he has started arresting people, there is no reason to suppose he will stop. And that is precisely the message he wants to send.”

I am sorry for all the times I stabbed men, just a little, in my previous workplace...."

I don't often recommend threads, but some of you may want to take a look

“I am sorry for all the times I stabbed men, just a little, in my previous workplace. After years of counseling, I stopped stabbing men.”

https://twitter.com/KateHarding/status/924271290751574016

some replies:

“My childhood was bad, I barely even stabbed them and some of them are liars. But I am truly sorry & will be spending time with my family.”

“In the 90s, everyone was stabbing men, or chopping off their body parts. I understand now that this was wrong, but it explains the context

“I’m not saying it’s good or bad, but it was the Bobbitt age.”

was so much simpler then

People weren't so PC.

Are you sure the men didn’t like the stabbing? Most just like the attention.

Many men dress, walk, talk, smile, eat, and drink in a way that invites stabbing.
