Michael Moore predicts Electoral College will deny Donald Trump: Hes not the president of USA yet"

Documentary filmmaker Michael Moore, who accurately predicted that Donald Trump would end up winning the general election, has made yet another bold prediction — on Wednesday on Seth Meyers’ “Late Night.”

“He’s not president of the United States yet,”
Moore said, noting that the Electoral College has yet to vote. “He’s not president till noon on January 20th of 2017. . . . That’s more than six weeks away. Would you not agree, regardless of which side of the political fence you’re on, this has been the craziest election year.”

He added: “”Nothing anyone predicted has happened; the opposite has happened. So is it possible, just possible, that in these next six weeks, something else might happen — something crazy, something we’re not expecting?”

The Los Angeles Times is up with an excellent takedown of Trump:

In Trump’s two tweets, it was unclear whether he was blaming Jones, the steelworkers union or unions in general for the fact that companies were fleeing the country. It was a doubly confused attack because the Donald J. Trump Collection, which is nonunion, has had many shirts produced in Bangladesh and China and suits made in India and China. Moreover, Trump was wrong to suggest that it’s only unionized factories that flee the country. American companies have also closed many nonunion factories — think apparel and furniture — and outsourced those operations.

Trump’s second tweet had an enigmatic phrase: “spend more time working-less time talking.” There, it was ambiguous whether he was referring to the steelworkers union or to unionized workers in general. If he meant the latter, by asserting that Midwestern workers toil too little and talk too much, he was essentially insulting many of the blue-collar workers who voted for him. If Trump was saying the union itself should spend less time talking, that seems to contradict his assertion that the steelworkers hadn’t done enough to save the Carrier plant. To save it, the union presumably would have needed to talk more, not less, with Carrier.

Trumps Labor Secretary Pick: I Like Beautiful Women Eating Burgers In Bikinis

Andy Puzder heads Carl’s Jr., maker of burgers and soft-porn TV commercials. His job is to protect women’s rights at work.

Puzder, CEO of the company that operates burger chains Carl’s Jr. and Hardee’s, has been outspoken on a few issues. He doesn’t want to raise the minimum wage. He really dislikes Obamacare.

..................

“I like our ads. I like beautiful women eating burgers in bikinis. I think it’s very American,” Puzder told Entrepreneur last year. “I used to hear, brands take on the personality of the CEO. And I rarely thought that was true, but I think this one, in this case, it kind of did take on my personality.”

..................

Part of Puzder’s job as labor secretary would include protecting women’s rights in the workplace. He would oversee the Labor Department’s Women’s Bureau, which advocates for equal pay and offers resources for women discriminated against at work.

In Puzder’s world, the Women’s Bureau is the name of a “breastaurant” that serves high-end burgers.

Scientist find dinosaur tail preserved in amberand it's covered in feathers

The tail of a 99-million-year-old dinosaur, including bones, soft tissue, and even feathers, has been found preserved in amber, according to a report published today in the journal Current Biology.

While individual dinosaur-era feathers have been found in amber, and evidence for feathered dinosaurs is captured in fossil impressions, this is the first time that scientists are able to clearly associate well-preserved feathers with a dinosaur, and in turn gain a better understanding of the evolution and structure of dinosaur feathers.

Michael Moore begs Trump: Attend security briefings or the next terror attack is all your fault

“You have to pay attention, you have to attend these briefings,” Moore said. “This is our country, this is our security, this is our safety. You’re horsing around with all this nonsense, and you’re not doing your No. 1 job. And the No. 1 job of the president is to make sure the country is safe.”

Moore recounted how former President George W. Bush was repeatedly warned about the dangers that Osama bin Laden an al-Qaeda posed to American security, and yet was unable to stop them from launching the deadliest terrorist attack ever on American soil.

Moore said that we simply cannot afford to have another president who is “unengaged” and is “not reading his briefs” about terror threats.

“I’m asking you to do your job,” Moore said. “For the sake of the people who may end up dead.”
