You need to listen closer Mr. Trump. Pelosi will negotiate on 'border security' - but she and the Dems are not going to give you a wall.
Take Trump's Speech Of Last Night & Substitute Gun Control Where He Talks Of Border Security.....
Rewrite his speech to include examples of people being killed by guns and the mass shootings we've experienced here in the U.S. if you want to elevate something to the level of a National Emergency.
In comparison - we do have a National Emergency with respect to guns versus border security.
Other Then Lawrence O'Donnell Has Anybody Else Mentioned Trump Using The Speech As A Fundraiser.....
Last night after the oval office speech - L O'D told us about the e-mails that went out before and after the speech that were intended to raise campaign money for Trump off this speech. To me that is big news because it is a visible abuse of such a solemn environment on the part of Trump. Oval Office speeches should be reserved for only the most important issues that a president is faced with.
I've listened to some of the reporting this a.m. and have yet to hear anyone else mentioned this outright conning that Trump used this oval office speech as a fundraising activity.
Am I being too critical here of Trump? Is it 'ok' for the MSM to give Trump a pass on this abuse of his position as president?
Is this another example of the MSM normalizing Trump's behavior?
Is anyone else as outraged as me about this?
I'm Worried That Some Of The Comments From The Talking Heads About Trump's.....
Oval Office speech are almost dares to make him invoke a National Emergency.
They are kinda saying that he chickened out by not invoking a National Emergency. The problem is that Trump doesn't like to look weak or like a chicken.
I wouldn't be surprised now if he digs in more on this shutdown and even goes as far as invoking a National Emergency.
Right now - he's probably watching the TV to find out how well he did and what the talking heads are saying he should do next.

Again The MSM Is Normalizing The Craziness Of Trump......
They are giving him air time to continue his lies to the American People with his fear campaign. They are giving him a chance to lie his way out of the corner he's backed himself into with this Wall and the Trump Shutdown.
They are giving him a chance to once again shift the blame to the Dems - Chuck and Nancy.
As long as the MSM keeps normalizing Trump's behavior - he'll keep on pushing for even more crazy until he destroys the country.
Are we at the point of a 'constitutional crisis' yet? Every time we reach one of Trump's crazy distractions, delusions or destructions - I hear a talking head say we're in a 'constitutional crisis'. The MSM then normalizes Trump's behavior and no crisis is ever recognized and dealt with.
Trump is pushing now to declare a National Emergency - to save face and get his bogus Wall built. I think this situation rises to the level of a Constitutional Crisis and I hope that this time it is recognized as such and is dealt with.
Trump needs to be stopped.

How else is is that Trump seems to be echoing the Kremlin line every chance he gets?
