On election night when the ballots are counted and Romney has lost, we are going to see

the mother of all meltdowns from Queen Anne and Bishop Mitt. There is no way in hell those two or their creepy kids will be able to be gracious in defeat. Stock up on popcorn now.

Nice job, Mr. President.

Washington Post endorses Tim Kaine

"Our choice in Virginia: Tim Kaine for the U.S. Senate
By Editorial Board, Published: October 15

TWO FORMER Virginia governors, Timothy M. Kaine and George Allen, are running for the U.S. Senate seat that Mr. Allen fumbled away six years ago. They are partisan stalwarts who disagree on deficit reduction, energy policy, health care, abortion, the death penalty and much else. The contrast in character and intellect is even more stark. On those grounds, Mr. Kaine, a Democrat, is a better choice by leaps and bounds than Mr. Allen, a Republican."

snip

"In their debates, Mr. Kaine has displayed a command of detail while Mr. Allen trades in gauzy hyperbole. In one such exchange, it was apparent that Mr. Allen did not understand how birth-control pills work nor the implications of “personhood” legislation he supports, which declares that life begins at the moment of conception. As Mr. Kaine has pointed out, such a measure could imperil legal birth-control pills."

Santa Claus on Presidential ballot in 15 states

"Mr. Claus is an official write-in candidate on 15 state presidential ballots on Nov. 6, including in Maryland. State workers on state time confirmed that Mr. Claus, of Nevada, was real.

“He did come into the office and file the paperwork, but we did check with the courts of Nevada — he had legally changed his name,” Donna Duncan, director of the state’s Elections Management division, told the paper.

His name will be listed at polling places, but not on the ballot. You have to type it in, should his political agenda and presents platform strike you as inspiring.

A brief bio: Mr. Claus was born Thomas Patrick O’Connor. He is a former New York City police official. He is single. He is 65. He has a long white beard. He is unaffiliated with any political parties, and he intends, should he win, to continue working to make children happy every Dec. 25. "

Sometimes DU gets rid of trolls too quickly

This guy was ppr'ed after spamming the board with his announcement of throwing his hat into the 2016 race.

His website was hilarious

"I HAVE PURPOSELY REFRAINED FROM DOING THE STANDARD
BUSINESS PROFESSIONAL LOOK
I WANT THE PEOPLE OF THE COUNTRY
TO SEE I AM ONE OF YOU AND FOR YOU"

He also is for GLT as long as they don't go out in public.

Here's Doug in all his squishy headed goofiness:

I am the only one who thinks that the "undecided voters" that these news

organizations find to sample after everything are phony? I know a lot of people on both sides and know a lot of people who don't care at all about politics and never vote, but I don't know anyone who is undecided. A few republicans always claim that they are undecided, but always seem to vote Republican at the last minute usually with some nonsensical statement like, "I am most concerned with the environment, so I voted against Al Gore." or "This country gets involved in to many wars, so I'm voting for John McCain.".

IMO, the "Undecided voter " is either the totally clueless or just additional GOP shenanigans.
