Here is the 2nd letter Mueller sent to Barr

Here is Mueller's full March 27 letter to Bill Barr—it's actually the SECOND letter Mueller sent, following one on March 25, the day after Barr released his 4page memo. Mueller asked Barr to release the intro and summary enclosed in each volume of the report. Barr decided not to.

There were 2 Mueller letters? Developing story from NYT

Mueller Pushed Twice for Barr to Release Report's Summaries

Source: New York Times

WASHINGTON — The special counsel, Robert S. Mueller III, pushed Attorney General William P. Barr twice to release more of his investigative findings in late March after Mr. Barr outlined the inquiry’s main conclusions in a letter to Congress, citing a gap between Mr. Barr’s interpretation and Mr. Mueller’s report, according to a letter released on Wednesday.

The letter, from Mr. Mueller, revealed deep concern about how Mr. Barr handled the initial release of the special counsel’s findings.

Mr. Mueller’s office first informed the Justice Department of their concerns on March 25, a day after Mr. Barr released his letter clearing Mr. Trump but declined to release the special counsel’s findings themselves.

“We communicated that concern to the department on the morning of March 25,” Mr. Mueller said in a second letter to Mr. Barr two days later. “There is now public confusion about critical aspects of the results of our investigation.”

Rick Wilson: There's some bad blood in the water for this to be leaking now.

The Mueller graf in my new piece was added literally seconds after it posted and seconds before we went to press, and the more I contemplate the leak, the more interesting I find it.

Ask yourself why this is leaking now, kids.

There's some bad blood in the water.

AG Barr exposed for lying to the US Senate.

https://twitter.com/RepJerryNadler/status/1123378879178133504

I note with interest AG Barr’s 4/10 Senate testimony.

“Q: Did Bob Mueller support your conclusion?

A: I don’t know whether Bob Mueller supported my conclusion.”

Now it appears that Mueller objected in this 3/27 letter.

Updated article MUELLER SPEAKS: Mueller told the AG Barr that the depiction of his findings failed

Mueller told the attorney general that the depiction of his findings failed to capture ‘context, nature, and substance’ of probe

By Washington Post Staff
April 30 at 7:07 PM

Special counsel Robert S. Mueller III wrote a letter in late March complaining to Attorney General William P. Barr that a four-page memo to Congress describing the principal conclusions of the investigation into President Trump “did not fully capture the context, nature, and substance” of Mueller’s work, according to a copy of the letter reviewed Tuesday by The Washington Post.

At the time the letter was sent on March 27, Barr had announced that Mueller had not found a conspiracy between the Trump campaign and Russian officials seeking to interfere in the 2016 presidential election. Barr also said Mueller had not reached a conclusion about whether Trump had tried to obstruct justice, but Barr reviewed the evidence and found it insufficient to support such a charge.

Days after Barr’s announcement , Mueller wrote a previously unknown private letter to the Justice Department, which revealed a degree of dissatisfaction with the public discussion of Mueller’s work that shocked senior Justice Department officials, according to people familiar with the discussions.

“The summary letter the Department sent to Congress and released to the public late in the afternoon of March 24 did not fully capture the context, nature, and substance of this office’s work and conclusions,” Mueller wrote. “There is now public confusion about critical aspects of the results of our investigation. This threatens to undermine a central purpose for which the Department appointed the Special Counsel: to assure full public confidence in the outcome of the investigations.”

Mueller Objected to Barr’s Description of Russia Investigation’s Findings

WASHINGTON — Robert S. Mueller III, the special counsel, wrote a letter in late March to Attorney General William P. Barr objecting to his early description of the Russia investigation’s conclusions that appeared to clear President Trump on possible obstruction of justice, according to the Justice Department.

The letter adds to the growing evidence of a rift between them and is another sign of the anger among the special counsel’s investigators about Mr. Barr’s characterization of their findings, which allowed Mr. Trump to wrongly claim he had been vindicated.

... snip

A central issue in the simmering dispute is how the public’s understanding of the Mueller report has been shaped since the special counsel ended his investigation and delivered his 448-page report on March 22 to the attorney general, his boss and longtime friend. The four-page letter that Mr. Barr sent to Congress two days later gave little detail about the special counsel’s findings and created the impression that Mr. Mueller’s team found no wrongdoing, allowing Mr. Trump to declare he had been exonerated.

...snip

In once instance, Mr. Barr took Mr. Mueller’s words out of context to suggest that the president had no motive to obstruct justice. In another instance, he plucked a fragment from a sentence in the Mueller report that made a conclusion seem less damaging for the president.

Mitch McConnell's Brother-in-Law is deep in Trump-Russia

Has anyone else seen this Reddit thread?

Jim Breyer is married to "shipping executive and philanthropist Angela Chao, the youngest sister of Elaine Chao." Wiki

There is way too much info and documentation to post, but here is a taste.

It's worth the time to click on the Reddit thread.

Mitch McConnell's Brother-in-Law One of the Masterminds of Trump-Russia

Jim Breyer, Mitch McConnell's brother-in-law, Facilitates Russia’s Takeover of Facebook through Yuri Milner

In 2005 Jim Breyer, a partner at Accel Partners, invested $1 million of his own money into Facebook and gained a seat on the board (1).

In Feb 2009 Jim Breyer visited Russia with a number of other Silicone Valley investors. While there, Yuri Milner, a Russian tech entrepreneur who founded DST with close ties to the Kremlin, hosted a dinner to cap the entire event (2). As one Moscow source put it:

DST has the backing of the big boys at the top in the Kremlin, which is why it will go from strength to strength (5)

Milner found out Breyer liked Impressionist art and took him to Russian’s Hermitage Museum to view Matisse paintings otherwise closed off to the public. Three months later Yuri Milner’s DST invested into Facebook at a bloated value. (2)

Jim Breyer and Rupert Murdoch

Then in Nov 2010 Jim Breyer invested into Artsy.net, run by Rupert Murdoch’s then-wife, Wendi Deng, and Russia oligarch Roman Abramovich’s then-wife, Dasha Zhukova. Jared Kushner’s brother, Josh, also invested in the fledgling company (1).

Jim Breyer, Blackstone Group, and Saudi Arabia

In 2011 Schwarzman was named to the board of the Russian Direct Investment Fund (2), headed by Kirill Dimitriev.

In June 2016, during Trump’s presidential campaign, Jim Breyer met with Saudi Crown Prince Mohammed bin-Salman, or MBS (8). The next month Breyer joined the board of Blackstone Group (1) alongside Stephen Schwarzman and Jacob Rothschild (3). In the past Blackstone Group had loaned Kushner Companies a combined $400 million over multiple projects (7). In the 2018 election cycle, Schwzarman donated $5 million to the pro-McConnell superPAC, Senate Majority PAC (13).

Jacob’s brother, Nat, is business partners with both Oleg Deripaska (4), Rupert Murdoch, and Dick Cheney (5). Nat is also a major investor in Glencore, one of the purchasers of Rosneft stock detailed in the Steele Dossier (6), and RusAl.

In January 2017, Breyer’s business partner at Wickr, Erik Prince, was introduced to Dimitriev by MBS’s emissary, George Nader, and the Crown Prince of the UAE (10).

On October 22, 2018, three weeks after the murder of Jamal Khashoggi, when most American investors were spooked away from Saudi Arabia, Jim Breyer showed up at an MBS-hosted Saudi business summit alongside Kirill Dimitriev of the Russian Direct Investment Fund (9). That same day, MBS pledged $20 billion for Blackstone Group's new infrastructure fund (11) to fund Elaine Chao's $1.5 trillion infrastructure plan (12). Elaine Chao, Mitch McConnells wife and Jim Breyer's sister-in-law, is Trump's Secretary of Transportation.

BREAKING: Top House and Senate Democrats REJECT A.G. Barr's offer to view a less-redacted version

BREAKING: Top House and Senate Democrats REJECT A.G. Barr's offer to view a less-redacted version of Mueller's report, calling the conditions too strict and demanding broader access for more lawmakers.

https://twitter.com/kyledcheney/status/1119334073871273984

Barr had offered to let the Gang of Eight (Pelosi, Schumer, McCarthy, McConnell and Intel Committee leaders), along with Judiciary Committee leaders see the less-redacted version. But Dems say more members on the relevant committees need to see it to make informed judgments.

Judiciary Committee Chairman Jerrold Nadler subpoenaed for the report earlier Friday, a well as all its underlying evidence.
