The Battle Hymn of the Republic (Brought Down to Date) (1901)
Mine eyes have seen the orgy of the launching of the Sword;
He is searching out the hoardings where the strangers wealth is stored;
He hath loosed his fateful lightnings, and with woe and death has scored;
His lust is marching on.
I have seen him in the watch-fires of a hundred circling camps;
They have builded him an altar in the Eastern dews and damps;
I have read his doomful mission by the dim and flaring lamps
His night is marching on.
I have read his bandit gospel writ in burnished rows of steel:
As ye deal with my pretensions, so with you my wrath shall deal;
Let the faithless son of Freedom crush the patriot with his heel;
Lo, Greed is marching on!
We have legalized the strumpet and are guarding her retreat*;
Greed is seeking out commercial souls before his judgement seat;
O, be swift, ye clods, to answer him! be jubilant my feet!
Our god is marching on!
In a sordid slime harmonious Greed was born in yonder ditch,
With a longing in his bosom and for others goods an itch.
As Christ died to make men holy, let men die to make us rich
Our god is marching on.

Zaid Jilani: Hillary Clinton’s Single-Payer Pivot Greased By Millions in Industry Speech Fees
Who'd've thunk it?
https://theintercept.com/2016/01/13/hillary-clinton-single-payer/
WTF? Hillary was apparently getting the only transcripts of her speeches:
When will she look into them?
Read this "concerning her Oct. 13 speech at a University of Nevada, Las Vegas Foundation fundraiser" in 2014:
(bolding and underlining mine)
"It is agreed that Speaker will be the only person on the stage during her remarks, according to the May 13 contract the Harry Walker Agency signed for Clintons keynote address at the Bellagio.
According to her standard speaking contract, Clinton will remain at the event no longer than 90 minutes; will pose for no more than 50 photos with no more than 100 people; and wont allow any press coverage or video- or audio-taping of her speech.
The only record allowed will be made by a stenographer whose transcription will be given only to Clinton. The stenographers $1,250 bill, however, will go to the UNLV Foundation."

Emily's List called again yesterday for money...
and I told the woman that I wouldn't give again until they took Hillary off the list.
She hung up immediately.
I said earlier: Rachel will come around when Bernie keeps going...
She already did. She started by saying that "liberal media" was a misnomer.
She was talking about Sanders' win being an inspiration to her because she remembered the 1992 NH primary with Pat Buchanan spewing hate against gays. She was 19 at the time and said that she also knew the Democrats (including Bill Clinton) didn't "have her back".
She seemed definitely excited about the left wing Democrats actually rising up.
God--Tweety is pushing Hillary so hard--
ranting about how great it is that the mayor of Boston is sending up folks to stump for Hillary. I think he's feeling a tingle.
Iowa Democrats posting incomplete FINAL caucus results
iowademocrats.org has posted as FINAL results: http://iowademocrats.org/wp-content/uploads/2016/02/2016-IDP-Final-Precinct-Caucus-Results-PrecinctCandidateResults1.pdf
I have been looking over these so-called final results and found the following precincts which awarded NO SDEs:
Fremont Riverton 2 CD
Hancock Precinct 3 1 CD
Kossuth CR 1 1 CD
Wapello Competine Twp 1 CD
Also I find it highly unlikely that in Black Hawk WL 4-1 that Clinton got 10 county delegates and Sanders got 0 so Hillary got 1.6428571430 SDEs and Bernie got 0
Of course, this list is what came AFTER the local caucus head counts and does NOT show those.
So, who knows?
Hoping for Paul Ryan to stay home in Janesville, Wisconsin
having lost his seat in the House as well.
I wonder who this less-than-smart guy voted for...
My son came back from voting and said an older guy in line near him was talking about the last person to be elected president three times was........Teddy!
Please send the Red Cross undesignated donations
This is from a friend who works with the Red Cross in NYC who said to share it freely:
"When you read posts by people who want you to specify that donations to The American Red Cross in Greater New York (or any other relief organization) should go to a specific purpose, remind them of this:
Restricting donations to disasters that have already happened is very damaging.
BEFORE Sandy hit, the Red Cross had to already own functioning, inspected, registered, insured vehicles--and had to have money available for gas and oil. Those vehicles were used to move blankets, cots, MREs, water, and other supplies into position so they would be available once roads were blocked. Those goods already had to be purchased and in warehouses (which need insurance, electricity, etc.)
The people--90% of whom are volunteers--needed offices, which means electricity, water, heat/air conditioning, computers, furniture, printers, paper, toner, telephones, Internet service, etc. etc--all of which had to have been purchased and set up.
Do you see now why unrestricted money is so important? The Red Cross (and every disaster relief organization) needs to be able to prepare for upcoming disasters. If you restrict your donation to being used in past disasters, you are not helping prepare for the next--which could involve you."
