The “Nicest Christmas Ever” commercial includes a direct quote from the U.S. president.


Air New Zealand’s latest Christmas commercial uses kids on Santa’s “naughty list” to take a not-so-subtle poke at U.S. President Donald Trump.

In the “Nicest Christmas Ever” spot, kids on the naughty list gather for a global summit on how to make amends, taking turns with ideas such as a “30 percent reduction in hair-pulling.”

But the U.S. representative ― sporting a red “Make Christmas Great Again” cap ― won’t help them.

“I have to say I’m not naughty at all,” he insists. “In fact, I’m the nicest person I know.”
The other children in the room laugh at the assertion.

And we are all SO shocked! None of us had ANY IDEA R leadership was compromised, or that this is the reason behind McConnell refusing to bring the resolution protecting Mueller up for a vote, or why none of them will stand up to Trump...

A biographer who detailed the relationship between Donald Trump and the Russian mob explained that Russia’s financial links to the United States extend far beyond the president.

Craig Unger, author of House of Trump, House of Putin: The Untold Story of Donald Trump and the Russian Mafia, wrote in a Reddit AMA that one of the biggest surprises in his book is how Trump has been compromised “for decades.”

In the 90’s, Unger wrote, Russians began sending money to Rep. Tom DeLay (R-TX), a longtime congressman who later became House Majority Leader. He also suggested that the mafia was sending money to other Republicans as well.

“I believe most of the GOP leadership has been compromised by” Russian money, the author added. “The Republican Senatorial Campaign Committee run by Mitch McConnell got millions from [Soviet-born businessman] Leonard Blavatnik.”

“As for the endgame,” Unger concluded, “I think it is already [beginning] to unravel.”

Most of you know about the first Indivisible guide written right after the election by former congressional staffers on how to interact with your congress critters. RAchel says actions in new one will help act as a check on WH.

TActical difference in this one is it's offensive rather than defensive.

FL has 29 electoral votes. They have had problems with corruption and voter suppression in their elections at least since 2000, enabled by GOP governors. A democratic governor can do a lot to clean up elections in a state. It would be a game changer nationally in both presidential and down-ballot races and therefore control of Congress.

GA also has had a lot of corruption in elections, probably even more, but they only have 16 electoral votes and about half the number of congressional reps of FL.

Of course this is only one of many reasons why this election is so important, but I don't hear it often mentioned.
