Botany's JournalHere Are The Police Officers And Other Public Employees Arrested In Connection To Capitol Riot
A rising number of police officers and other public servants from across the United States are being questioned or arrested in connection with the seditious, deadly riots that took place at the U.S. Capitol in Washington, D.C., on January 6. Here is a list of the incidents and individuals who have been investigated or apprehended:

A New Jersey naval contractor named Timothy Hale-Cusanell (described as an avowed white supremacist and Nazi sympathizer in court papers) has been charged with unlawfully entering restricted grounds, obstructing a law enforcement officer, violent entry and disorderly conduct in a Capitol building.

Robert Sanford, a retired firefighter from Pennsylvania, was arrested by federal authorities Thursday for allegedly throwing a fire extinguisher that hit three police officers, one of which was hospitalized after being struck in the head (Sanford was seen on video wearing a Chester Fire Department hat during the riots).

Virginia Senate Democrats have moved towards a censure of Republican Sen. Amanda Chase after she attended Trump's speech at the rally (In the days following the riot, Chase called the insurrectionist protesters "patriots" and falsely claimed antia activists were responsible).

I know this will not happen but this is why the senate should convict Trump today because ...
... Trump might very well pardon the US Capitol rioters including those that murdered
the Capitol Hill policeman by beating him to death.

Trump to issue around 100 pardons and commutations Tuesday, sources say
Source: CNN
(CNN)President Donald Trump is preparing to issue around 100 pardons and commutations on his final full day in office Tuesday, according to three people familiar with the matter, a major batch of clemency actions that includes white collar criminals, high-profile rappers and others but -- as of now -- is not expected to include Trump himself.
The White House held a meeting on Sunday to finalize the list of pardons, two sources said.
Trump, who had been rolling out pardons and commutations at a steady clip ahead of Christmas, had put a pause on them in the days leading up to and directly after the January 6 riots at the US Capitol, according to officials.
Aides said Trump was singularly focused on the Electoral College count in the days ahead of time, precluding him for making final decisions on pardons. White House officials had expected them to resume after January 6, but Trump retreated after he was blamed for inciting the riots.

Do you think Trump would go so far as pardon the people who murdered the Capitol Hill Cop?
And if he did it would Fox and News Max talk about ANTIFA and BLM?
Biden to sign executive orders rejoining Paris climate accord and rescinding travel ban on first day
Source: CNN
President-elect Joe Biden plans to sign roughly a dozen executive orders, including rejoining the Paris climate accord and ending the travel ban on predominantly Muslim countries, on his first day in office, according to a memo from incoming chief of staff Ron Klain.
He'll also sign orders halting evictions and student loan payments during the coronavirus pandemic and issuing a mask mandate on all federal property in an effort to either roll back moves made by the Trump administration or advance policy in a way that was impossible in the current administration.
One of Biden's most common campaign trail promises was to tackle an issue on his first day in office -- a pledge he usually made to either contrast himself with President Donald Trump or highlight just how important he believed an issue to be. These promises were made on everything from climate change to immigration to foreign policy, and many are reflected in Klain's Saturday memo, which was first reported by the New York Times.
"During the campaign, President-elect Biden pledged to take immediate action to start addressing these crises and build back better," Klain writes. "As president, he will keep those promises and sign dozens of executive orders, presidential memoranda, and directives to Cabinet agencies in fulfillment of the promises he made."
