Get ready to party. Coming up on 4 days, 23 hours, 59 minutes, and 59 seconds left. @ noon today

Remember class? We are going to see it again.

During the Obama's last days in the White House they donated their daughter's
playground equipment to a children's center in D.C.

And last night Joe Biden said: "As your President I can promise you that every day matters and every person matters."

Joe B., "As your President I can promise you that every day matters and every person matters."

Grown Ups!

How much preplanning went into the Trump supporters attack on the Capitol?

Republicans Accused of Giving Capitol Tours to Rioters

Representative Tim Ryan, Democrat of Ohio, said lawmakers were aware of the tours but are now looking at them in a new light given the attack. He said they included “handfuls” of people and that the authorities were aware of them. “Now you look back on certain things and you look at them differently so, yeah, we’re looking into it,” he said.

Mr. Crow said he was aware of tours but uncertain about their nature.

Pressure is mounting on the Republican members of Congress who associated themselves with far-right extremist groups in the days leading up to the mob attack. Several of Mr. Trump’s most ardent supporters, including Representatives Mo Brooks of Alabama and Paul Gosar and Andy Biggs, both of Arizona, have been accused of helping plan the Jan. 6 rally that led to the violent attack on the Capitol.

Pressley's chief of staff said her office's panic buttons 'had been torn out' before Capitol riot

Rep. Ayanna Pressley's (D-Mass.) chief of staff, Sarah Groh, said in a recent interview that panic buttons she had previously used in the congresswoman's office had been taken out before the violent riot at the U.S. Capitol last week.

‘Quickly Becoming Clear’ Rioters Had ‘Material Support, Funding, and Operational Intelligence’ From the White House

The very “end game” is less clear – right now – than the fact that someone helped ensure that the Capitol only had its regular token police force with no fallback for help, that the rioters had accurate intelligence, that many of them were bused in for the event with questions as to who paid, and many other aspects. It becomes obvious that this starts getting to a level of logistics that require the assistance of people that can give orders and there are precious few of those around.

There is also one fact that stands out as yet to be seen whether it played any role, or was a deeply insidious part of the plan, Trump firing Defense Secretary Mark Esper on November 11th and replacing the DoD team with completely loyal sycophants.
(did this cripple the National Guard's response to the riot?)

NY Times:

“Big protest in D.C. on January 6th,” Mr. Trump tweeted on Dec. 19, just one of
several of his tweets promoting the day. “Be there, will be wild!”

Facing calls to resign, Boebert shifts blame to Democrats, Hollywood

DENVER — Colorado Congresswoman Lauren Boebert on Monday responded to calls for her resignation by describing Democrats as hypocrites and naming celebrities and politicians she blames for inciting violence.

“We should take Democrats at their word when they say never let a crisis go to waste. Their hypocrisy is on full display with talks of impeachment, censure, and other ways to punish Republicans for false accusations of inciting the type of violence they have so frequently and transparently supported in the past,” the Republican from Rifle said in a statement.

"They accuse me of live-tweeting the Speaker’s presence after she had been safely removed from the Capitol, as if I was revealing some big secret, when it fact this removal was also being broadcast on TV," Boebert wrote. (notice she doesn't deny it)

Boebert also tweeted "Today is 1776" ahead of the attack.

A group of Democrats in Colorado have called on Boebert and Lamborn to resign, saying in a letter that they helped incite the violence. Monday, #ResignBoebert also trended on Twitter.

Although I am still calling my republican congress critter and 2 senators and demanding
Trump's removal from office.

Call your Congress Critter and Senators today and demand that President be removed.

They need to feel the heat and hear our anger.

“Big protest in D.C. on January 6th,” Trump tweeted a week before Christmas. “Be there, will be wild!” *

Trump and others invited the mob to D.C., gave them a pep talk before they attacked our Capitol,
Trump watched the attacks on TV in the White House with excitement, and this was after he decapitated
the leadership at the Pentagon so any response by the National Guard was hampered. This was a well
planned out attack on our democracy in order to stop members of the Congress from installing the
legally elected President and Vice President of the United States.
