“It’s hard to overstate the potential security risks if this material were to be used irresponsibly,” Thompson said in a
statement. McCarthy’s office granted about 41,000 hours of footage of the Capitol riots to Carlson, Axios first reported.
A Fox News spokesperson confirmed the development to The Hill on Monday.

“If Speaker McCarthy has indeed granted Tucker Carlson — a Fox host who routinely spreads misinformation and [Russian President Vladimir] Putin’s poisonous propaganda — and his producers access to this sensitive footage, he owes the American people an explanation of why he has done so and what steps he has taken to address the significant security concerns at stake,” Thompson said.

The Mississippi Democrat headed the select House committee that investigated the Jan. 6 attacks for nearly a year and a half before releasing its final report in December. The committee had interviewed more than 1,000 witnesses, read through documents and reviewed troves of video footage of the riots during its investigation.

In 2021 he produced “Patriot Purge,” a documentary series that purports to tell an alternative story of the Jan. 6 insurrection and features at least one subject who suggests the event may have been a “false flag” operation. Fox News staffers were reportedly angered by the series, and at least two contributors to the network resigned in protest.

Zelenskyy, "The fight is here; I need ammunition, not a ride."

Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky has turned down an offer from the United States of evacuation from the capital city Kyiv, the Ukraine embassy in Britain said Saturday on Twitter.

“The fight is here; I need ammunition, not a ride,” Zelensky told the US, according to the embassy.

“Ukrainians are proud of their President,” the tweet adds.

CHARLES MCGONIGAL Where is the coverage?

The former head of the FBI's NYC Office for Counterintelligence was being paid by Vlad Putin in 2016 through Oleg Deripaska and that story has all but disappeared from our "liberal media." And during that time the NY Times put on their front page that the FBI sees no links between Trump and Russia and then the Director of the James Comey pushed the phony story about Hillary and her emails which was a Russian talking point.

BTW I have read on DU that it was Oleg Deripaska's nephew who was
funding Tony DeVolder aka George Santos. Santos is in my opinion a
Russian installed chaos agent who after he is removed from the House
will disappear because Vlad doesn't like loose ends.

Vlad and Russia have been at war with America and our Democracy for
many years and they have helpers in the GOP, media, and social media
sites too. For the love of God they installed TFG into the White House.

Russian oligarchs like Oleg Deripaska perform global malign influence on behalf of the Kremlin and are associated with acts of bribery, extortion, and violence. As alleged, Mr. McGonigal and Mr. Shestakov, both U.S. citizens, acted on behalf of Deripaska and fraudulently used a U.S. entity to obscure their activity in violation of U.S. sanctions. After sanctions are imposed, they must be enforced equally against all U.S. citizens in order to be successful. There are no exceptions for anyone, including a former FBI official like Mr. McGonigal. Supporting a designated threat to the United States and our allies is a crime the FBI will continue to pursue aggressively.”

Since 1986, The Carter Center has led the international campaign to eradicate Guinea worm disease, working closely with ministries of health and local communities, the U.S. Centers for Disease Control and Prevention, the World Health Organization, UNICEF, and many others.

Guinea worm disease could become the second human disease in history, after smallpox, to be eradicated. It would be the first parasitic disease to be eradicated and the first disease to be eradicated without the use of a vaccine or medicine.

I was just in Lansing 4 days ago on the way to Muskegon, MI for a funeral service for a long time friend, who was a proud MSU Alum, I'm wearing her MSU hat right now, my late father knew and was friends w/a # of faculty, administrators, and students @ Michigan State, and growing up in Columbus w/OSU I feel like I have lost a good friend. To come back from Michigan and then to wake to a Lansing Hospital's Director breaking down, the pain etched in Gov. Whitmer's face, and the security director for the campus of MSU saying enough is enough and we have to stop this bloodshed makes my heartache. Fuck your thoughts and prayers.

Governor Whitmer's Face, and the pain that those
families, friends, and fellow students will carry
with them for the rest of their lives breaks my
