Thread with music 300,000 dead Americans

Go ahead and post any thoughts or anything at all.

Go damn Donald Trump. None of this had to have happened. We had the people, the protocols, and
the materials in place but Trump just had to get rid of all of that because they were "the black guy's idea."
And Kushner along with Pompeo sent 18 tons of PPE to China in Feb. 2020 because he and Trump owed
China millions so at the start of the pandemic doctors, nurses, techs, and first responders had to wear
garbage bags and home made masks.

Traitor States. How come so many were part of the Confederate States of America?

These states are suing to keep other states from counting black people's votes because they don't like
the outcome of our elections.

BTW one of the reasons that Trump could steal his way into the White House is the electoral college which
was written into the Constitution in order to placate slave owners so they would sign off on it. It is time
to get rid of that damn thing.

An amicus brief (amicus curiae) or ‘friend of the court’ brief was filed with the high court earlier Wednesday. The states of Missouri, Alabama, Arkansas, Florida, Indiana, Kansas, Louisiana, Mississippi, Montana, Nebraska, North Dakota, Oklahoma, South Carolina, South Dakota, Tennessee, Utah and West Virginia have all signed on to the brief that backs the Texas suit.

Arizona was the latest state to file an amicus brief on Wednesday bringing the total to 18 states.

Michigan-Ohio State football game called off due to COVID-19 cases with Wolverines

Source: ESPN

The annual rivalry game between Michigan and Ohio State has been canceled due to an increase in COVID-19 cases over the past week within the Wolverines' program, the school announced.

The decision was made after conversations with medical experts, health department officials and the university administration.

"The number of positive tests has continued to trend in an upward direction over the last seven days," Michigan athletic director Warde Manuel said. "We have not been cleared to participate in practice at this time. Unfortunately, we will not be able to field a team due to COVID-19 positives and the associated quarantining required of close-contact individuals.

"This decision is disappointing for our team and coaches, but their health and safety is paramount, and it will always come first in our decision-making."

I love football and OSU football but they should have never tried to have a season this year.
It was and still is madness.

BTW this is 100% on Trump too. He just had to get rid of all those people, protocols, and materials
that were in place and would have stopped the virus from becoming a global pandemic.

Biden makes picks for HHS secretary, CDC director / GROWN UPS! GROWN UPS! GROWN UPS!

GROWN UPS! GROWN UPS! GROWN UPS!

Biden chose California Attorney General Xavier Becerra as his nominee for HHS secretary. The 12-term veteran of U.S. Congress had previously advocated for healthcare issues as AG in California and led a coalition that worked to uphold the Affordable Care Act passed during the Obama administration when Biden was vice president.

Additionally, the president-elect picked Massachusetts General Hospital chief of infectious diseases Dr. Rochelle Walensky, an HIV/AIDS expert, as the nominee to head up the CDC. Walensky will be thrown into the mix of the COVID-19 pandemic response with an onus on vaccine distribution right out of the gate.

The president-elect has been active in shaping his future administration, naming a number of cabinet members already, while also unveiling the beginning steps to his plan for combatting COVID-19, including the appointment of a 12-person coronavirus advisory board.

Biden’s advisory board is being headed up by former surgeon general Dr. Vivek Murthy, former FDA commissioner Dr. David Kessler and Yale University’s Dr. Marcella Nunez-Smith. Dr. Luciana Borio, Rick Bright, Dr. Ezekiel Emanuel, Dr. Atul Gawande, Dr. Celine Gounder, Dr. Julie Morita, Michael Osterholm, Loyce Pace, Dr. Robert Rodriguez and Dr. Eric Goosby round out the board.

Xavier Becerra a question

Is his first name pronounced with a Z or the Spanish H?

On a day where we had 2,800 deaths (I think that is right), 200,000 new cases of C-19, and Trump...

.... was stoned out of his gourd as he gives an award to Lou Holtz. If you can stomach it watch this clip and
stop it @ 25 seconds and look at the size of his pupils. The man needs to be removed from office today.
We are losing an American every 28 seconds and the whole world is in the shitter because Trump just had to
get rid of the people, the protocols, and the materials that would have stopped the virus after all those "things"
were "the black guy's ideas."
